Munetaka Murakami currently has a .645 OPS in day games and a 1.180 OPS in night games

Someone mentioned this crazy split on MLB Network when talking about Murakami and it really is a crazy difference. They said they asked him about this and mentioned the shadows might have bothered him and this was part of the adjustment.

Day games

.137/.289/.356 - 5 HRs, 16 walks, 38 strikeouts - 21 games played

Night games

.326/.451/.728 - 12 HRs, 21 walks, 28 strikeouts - 26 games played

Gavin Sheets, Andrew Vaughn, Munetaka Murakami, and Miguel Vargas all played 1B for the White Sox in the past 3 years - they are all hitting above 145 wRC+

Sheets: 152 wRC+

Vaughn: 147 wRC+

Murakami: 155 wRC+

Vargas: 146 wRC+

Granted Andrew Vaughn only has 39 plate appearances so far, but he was hitting much better when he joined the Brewers last year too.

The Rays, Athletics, and Guardians currently lead their AL Divisions. All three also rank among the seven lowest payrolls in the league.

Fixed my previous thread since it is actually 7 lowest, not 6.

Guardians - 29th

Athletics - 27th

Rays - 24th

If it weren't for the White Sox, they would be the 3 lowest payroll teams in the AL.

Marlins are the cheapest team in the league if you are wondering.
