Hello everybody. I am a smart kid. I try hard in school and I value my academic environment so very much. One of the reasons I take all AP classes is so that I am in an environment with teachers and students who actually care, not just people there to cheat and pass the class. I have worked so hard in school and I plan to major in chemical engineering.

I am texas based and will likely not get into UT. My parents think that going out of state is a huge mistake, unrealistic, and not worth it. They keep telling me I should stay close to home and go somewhere like OU or arkansas. I know a girl who literally was in math models, got like a 15/100 on her OU math assesment exam and is somehow doing engineering but says that all she does is party and drink. I want to be surrounded with people of my same work ethic and drive. I want to have good professors who set me up for success. I want nothing to do with either of these schools nor any schools around texas for that matter.

my parents both went to UNT and have stayed literally 30 mins away from where they grew up. They see no reason in going anywhere far from home. They also don’t see a value in paying for a college expierence. please someone help me convince them. what do i do??

Hi guys! My school recommends taking honors physics before C rather than ap 1 so that is what I did. I have a test over physics c unit 1 of kinematics and we have not learnt anything in class!

My teacher has only gone over differentiations and integrations which make sense but after taking the progress check I have realized i’m missing a huge chunk of physics and concept understanding. does anyone have any good conceptual resources that could help? Should I use physics 1 resources (w/o math parts) for this? any reccomendations? someone pls help!!

Hi guys so me and my boyfriend were stupid and had unprotected sex for around 30 seconds. He put it in quickly for a few strokes then put it back in his pants. I use the flo app and i was supposed to be ovulating but idk if that was true. His penis was not leaking anything before putting it inside of me but i am still anxious about precum. Hello! I am a current senior in highschool and I am planning on majoring in ChemE. I have been researching auburn and i am curious to hear opinions about its chemical engineering program. I have good enough stats to likely qualify for the honors college if anyone can give some intel on it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys! I’m a rising senior based in the state of texas. I am planning to major in either chemical engineering or just chemistry. still tbd…(not rly wanting to stay in texas)

I attend a very competitive public school and i am 251/865 (29%) with a 3.565UW and a 4.6W
- 34 ACT (32M,32S,35E,36R)
- I struggled with undiagnosed adhd all of my life and did not get diagnosed until the second semester of my junior year. By the time I had recieved my accommodations and support, my gpa was already past redemption in terms of bettering it for college applications. (written about in my common app circumstances) My improvement post-accommodations is tremendous finishing junior year with all As and scoring three 4’s and one 5 on my ap exams (the 5 was on chem too 🤑)
- I have a VERY rigorous schedule and will have completed 13 aps by the time i graduate.

- ECs:
• Swam for 2 years in HS and waterpolo for 1 year (var for both)
• Held part time job all throughout highschool— one being teaching kids how to swim, other being in a restaurant. I was a receptionist at an ophthalmologist office over the summer (awarded “WOW” employee award 2x)
•National french honor society of 2 years
•NHS member
• volunteered at youth stem summer camp over summer
• weekly volunteering in the kids ministry at my church
• shadowing: multiple electrical engineers in different departments at a engineering company as well as at a construction company.

I’m sitting at a 29 on english and it’s KILLING my composite. I struggle a lot with verb tenses, commas, and conventions of standard english. Does anyone have any good practice sites, youtube videos, or resources I could grind to improve my performance?

I’ve seen a lot of comments and tips regarding the odd one being the correct answer with these questions…. I understand the method but I can never find the correct one. Can anyone give any tips with this?

Is this an accurate representation of how I will do on the actual act????? Is it too easy??

So I took the act back in february and got a 27 comp 25 on english and math and 31 on reading. I just took the practice test 1 on the ACT website and scored a 28 on english 35 on reading and a 34 on math…. these are some insane score jumps… was this practice exam too easy??? has anyone had similar experiences
