"The Good Old Days" of 2016 (Shadows Over Innistrad) at Level Up in Saint Paul, MN. Used to pre-order boxes for $80 and split it with buds. They had 50% everything during Christmas time. I remember the 2017 Commander Decks were $34 and my friends and I thought that was too costly. Live and learn!

It is pretty sad how often I think about wishing I bought more stuff then...(and in 1996)

Next to Normal from Donmar Warehouse | FULL MUSICAL | Great Performances

I just watched this and am full on crying. What a show. Wow. Grateful they released this so we could see it - I live in Minnesota so getting to Broadway is a dream for me.

Growing up in Minnesota, obsessed with movies, I was so happy when this one was filmed here and loved seeing the scenes take place in some of my favorite spots. Suddenly, today, listening to Scott Hasn't Seen, I realized during the Natalie Portman/Alison Lohman discussion ... there is a MAJOR YIKES

relationship in this movie between Timothy Hutton and Natalie Portman (13-years-old). I remember even watching it way back when I was 14 thinking how cute I thought she was and then thinking Tomothy Hutton was a creepy old man and just hated that storyline (but loved the rest of the movie). Now, after this conversation on SHS, I'm just grossed out that I went to bat for this flick millions of times completely forgetting that part of it just because I love the "Minnesota of it all." Yuck.
