Are there any genuine consultancies or recruiters that can help get interviews at KPMG or other Big 4 firms in India?

I've been applying through company career portals and LinkedIn, but I'm finding it difficult to get interview calls from KPMG and the other Big 4 firms.

Are there any legitimate recruitment consultancies or staffing agencies in India that recruit for KPMG, Deloitte, EY, or PwC? I'm not looking for anyone who guarantees a job or asks for money, just genuine recruiters who can help candidates get their profiles noticed or arrange interviews for suitable openings.

MBA Finance Fresher struggling to find P2P/R2R/AP/AR/Tax & Audit roles in Kolkata. Need career advice.

I'm mainly interested in:

  • P2P (Procure to Pay)
  • R2R (Record to Report)
  • O2C/C2C (Order to Cash)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Tax
  • Audit
  • MIS Reporting

During my internship, I worked in Tax and Audit, and I also have knowledge of Advanced Excel, Financial Analysis, Financial Reporting, and basic accounting concepts.

The problem is that I'm hardly finding any fresher openings in Kolkata. Most job postings ask for 1–3 years of experience, even for roles that seem entry-level.

I had a few questions:

  1. Do companies like Genpact and Capgemini hire MBA Finance freshers for P2P, R2R, AP/AR, or Tax roles in Kolkata?
  2. If yes, what is the usual hiring process? Employee referral, careers portal, walk-in, or campus hiring?
  3. What is the typical CTC for freshers in these roles? I've heard everything from ₹2.2 LPA to ₹5 LPA, so I'm confused. Recent hiring drives seem to vary depending on the role and hiring program.
  4. Are there any other companies in Kolkata that regularly hire Finance freshers for shared services or F&A operations?
  5. If you were starting today as an MBA Finance fresher, what would you focus on to improve your chances of getting interviews?

I've been applying through LinkedIn, company career portals, and asking for referrals, but most applications are either rejected or remain under review without any updates.

I'd really appreciate any advice from people working in finance shared services or anyone who has recently joined companies like Genpact, Capgemini, EY, Deloitte, PwC, Accenture, Infosys BPM, or Wipro.

Thanks in advance!

Need Help urgent...................

>A friend of mine borrowed ₹27,000 from my brother in two installments, claiming that his mother was hospitalized and urgently needed financial help. On humanitarian grounds, my brother transferred the money online.

Later, we found out that the story was false. After receiving the money, he blocked us and has not returned the amount. We believe this is a case of cheating and fraud.

We have already filed a General Diary (GD), but the police do not seem to be taking the matter seriously.

What legal actions can we take to recover the money? Also, the person is currently working at Wipro. Is there any legitimate way to contact the HR department regarding this issue?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Are Referrals works in Big 4?

I am an MBA fresher from the 2026 batch and have been actively applying for entry-level roles in every Big 4 firms through Referral ,but unfortunately, they have not resulted in interview calls. In most cases, my applications are either directly rejected or remain without any update on the portal.

The confusing part is that my qualifications, skills, and internship experience closely match the job requirements. Despite this, I am not getting opportunities to move forward in the hiring process.

I recently spoke with a company called Hireyy. They informed me that if I purchase their KYC/AML course (approximately ₹40,000), they can help place me in top MNCs and Big 4 firms because they have internal connections and referrals.

  • Is it true that such companies can provide placements in Big 4 firms through internal connections?
  • Has anyone had personal experience with Hireyy or similar training and placement companies?
  • Were the placement promises fulfilled after completing the course?
  • Is investing ₹40,000 in such a program worth it for someone looking to start a career in KYC/AML or the finance domain?
