I’m seriously gonna enjoy his death

And by him I mean the new Navy Captain of Nassau who gets super cocky and full himself when Rogers puts him in charge while he goes about defeating Teach. Also I thought this captain looked exactly the same as the guy who died in the plantation one episode before? I was super happy to see him die but turns out they’re completely different people.

Glad about Ned low

From the moment he appeared at the start of season 2, I instantly didn’t like him, thought he was going to be the seasons big bad. The way he acted and went about things was super cringe. His quartermaster seemed like a solid lad tho.

Hornigold

This guys constant smug face seriously pisses me the fuck off, especially when he betrays everyone and is working for the Navy. I’m just about to finish s3, was happy to see Dufresne meet his end, hope Hornigold meets the same fate.

Max

Seriously most annoying freaking character in the entire show, so much shit it was ruined and sacrificed for her just to live and she’s the most annoying bratty piece of shit out there. Should’ve been killed off in the first couple of episodes of season 1. Also I just finished season 1

My bottom 5 worst maps

These are in no particular order and I’ll try to provide some reasoning for each. This is an objective ranking and not from a game design or map design perspective

Havana: The first point is wide open and long, favouring long ranged heros which I don’t think the majority of the player base enjoys playing against. Second point feels super claustrophobic in contrast, also not a fan of the high ground. Nobody seems to use the outside lane either. Third point, I don’t think it needs any explanation.

Paraiso: Again, map feels super claustrophobic. Nobody ever seems to use the outside right lane second point on attack because it literally leads to nowhere unless your hero climbs walls or jumps. It looks quite nice visually with all the bright coloured buildings but not very fun to fight on as it’s just a long narrow lane. I also heard this map was reworked, which is like wow, this was reworked and it’s still one of the bottom maps in the game?

Rialto: I actually don’t mind the latter half of second point and third point is alright, but man the two bridges are absolutely terrible, especially the second one at the start of second point, It’s the only way you can actually go across unless you are a flyer, at least first point has the outside right bridge for attackers. The second bridge alone is enough for me to rank it this low.

Circuit royal: Really not a fan of how limited you are in how you can attack on this map, it just has the 1 main map and the flanking seems minimal or first and second point. Third point has the roof section on the right but the main lane feels too narrow for my liking. Also this map heavily favours long range heros which I’m not a fan of.

Dorado: Like I’ve reiterated multiple times throughout this post, I’m not really a fan of maps that are narrow and feel claustrophobic, this map is exactly that. The flanking option s also feel super limited on all points.

Big pile up on M2 near old Norlunga

Driving to work this morning heading south and there was this big 5-6 car crash on the M2 freeway, heaps of ambos and fire trucks, don’t think anyone was hurt badly though as I didn’t see any ambos with sirens on. Surprised to not see anything online about, nothing on 7news of SA traffic website.

Will anywhere in Adelaide take these?

They’re massive and we’ve got no use for them. Where can I throw them away or recycle without having to spend heaps of money

Is sigma kinda of a more team dependent tank?

What I mean by this is, that you need your team mates behind you and your shield shooting and helping you control space, and you can’t really just go in a pressure a lot yourself

Other tanks like Ramattra are a lot more threatening and can just take and control space better and you can’t just dive him as easily.

Is sigma a more map and team comp dependent than other tank or am I just playing him wrong?

I’ve mainly been playing Ramattra and Hazard in the tank role and I feel like I can do a lot more on those 2, sigma feels more of a passive tank compared to these two

Completely forgot why I stopped playing ranked

It’s literal hell icl

I used to play a bit of ranked but completely stopped and just played 6v6 quick play and that’s actually just peak overwatch experience especially when it’s 2-2-2 composition

Came back to 5-5 ranked and it’s so fucking miserable

Enemy team has diamond 6v6 tank, plat support and meanwhile I got freaking first time Shion going 0-8 and what makes it even worse is that you gotta play twice on hybrid and escort, like you get stomped first round now you gotta play again and get stomped

People need to calm down

Supercell is in a bit of a dilemma.

Im one of the many players that has been consistently playing since mid 2024 and have bought many equipment event passes to level up my stuff.

With this new update, If supercell gave us legacy players all the ores that new players would receive they’d ensure we never spend a dime again.

The new player experience regarding ores is terrible they’d need months to just level up an epic decently, so they had to do something.

And it’s not like you had to spend actual money to acquire the epics, each medal event gave you 3100 tokens which majority of people used on epics. All they’re doing is giving newer players those epics that they missed out on

Edit: Clash Royale also did the same thing. New players get much better rewards from progressing in levels but us legacy players got 5k gems 3 5 star boxes. There was some backlash but nobody cares anymore. It’s ultimately good for the game because getting level 16 was a new player was impossible and old rewards were ass

The amount of hours required to reach tier 200 is crazy

I’ve played so much consistently this season and I’ve reached like tier 185 but still need another 200k xp for tier 200. Was just thinking how much more additional time I’d need to put in to get this title. I definitely can’t get it now size I’m super busy for next 2 days

Best players on each role?

I’ve only recently watched OWCS finals and that was my introduction to OW esports.

I’m curious about who the best players are in each role, or top 3 for each role

During that OWCS final the people that really stood out to me were Quartz who had an insane Cassidy and Sojurn and the other player on the enemy team playing Wrecking ball. The tank player on Zeta division who played Doomfist also seemed really good.

I was under the impression that Doomfist was this hero for one tricks to play in ranked but to seem him be played so well in pro play was crazy and the chat and crowed seemed to love it too

How the F do you play DVA

We all like to hate on DVA and call her op and she is op, but I think she takes a fair amount of skill, certainly more than Ramattra.

I always vs ones that somehow 1v4 my team and still manage to get out. I’ve given her a try and I’m not sure what to do? Do I just perma dive the enemy backline? When I do that, I manage to go 1 for 1 which is terrible. It kinda feels weird to hold corners on her. It feels like she has a different gameplay look from other tanks

NBN providers

So currently I’m with Spintel on a FTTP connection paying $95 a month for 750/50. I’m looking to switch and the main thing I’ve been reading here is that the thing that really seperate the providers is their support. I’ve been with Spintel for almost 3 years now and I’ve had no issues so never really had to contact support or anything. My question is that do all providers basically provide the same speed and connection wise? Like a 750/50 at Spintel won’t be any different to a 750/50 at Aussie Broadband?.

Confused af

So when Tf is ewc and when is Msi? The schedule says msi starts in late June and goes on until early July just like last year and I’m guessing ewc will be after it. If that’s the case why are ewc qualifiers so early on? And there were no qualifiers last year

I play junker queen but I’ve tried other tanks into that piece of shart horse to no avail. He’s literally the most overturned tank out there. Insane damage at range, insane javelin throw that might as well send you back to spawn, damage mitigation and damage block. Like I’ve searched up how to counter him and all it says “oh just ignore orisa” as if you could ignore a tank who’s basically got Bastion level damage just auto attacking you to death. Like I don’t even know who to ban atp cuz there’s so many heros that give you cancer.
