— This is a repost of one of my previous postings, I have submitted Milam County Jane Doe to the DNA Doe Project for consideration —

On November 4, 1986, the body of a young teen would be found by a telephone repairman doing work nearby in the area of US Route 77, just seven miles south of Rockdale, Texas. She was found lying face down in a grassy ditch, wearing nothing but a yellow metal ring. It was determined that she was beaten to death and PMI was estimated to be days to weeks prior.

The Jane doe is estimated to be between the ages of 12-16yrs old, possibly White or Hispanic, 5’2-5’3”, and an estimated weight between 90-100lbs. Her hair appeared to be naturally a dark brown/auburn but may have been dyed to a strawberry blonde color. She may have had spina bifida that affected her walk, she had very poor dental health to the point it may have had affected her speech, and no signs of receiving dental care prior. Her ears were double pierced.

On November 6, 2006, Jane Doe’s remains were exhumed. Her jawbone and maxilla were found to be missing, making it impossible to do a 3D reconstruction. Autopsy photos of the skull that included the jawbone and maxilla were shown to a forensic artist who created a 2D sketch. DNA and dentals are available.

Milam County Jane Doe has gone unidentified for 40 years.

On April 15, 1994, 20 year old Rene Roof was last seen leaving her mother’s home located on east Avenue I in a mobile home park in Lancaster, Los Angeles County, California. Rene was known to lead a risky lifestyle, she had been involved with drugs and criminals since the age of 13, and had been in rehabilitation programs at least 4 times previously. Despite this, her loved ones insist she would never leave without saying a word to them or reaching out. Foul play is suspected in Rene’s disappearance.

Rene is described as a White female, with brown hair and brown eyes. With a height listed as 5’5” and weight listed as 125lbs. Her ears are pierced, she has a tattoo of a heart on a vine on her left wrist, and a scar on the back of her right thigh. She possibly used an alias of: Theresa Ranier.

Interestingly enough, on the DoeNetwork there is another missing person, Juliandra Elizabeth Jones, who disappeared April 20, 1997 from Palmdale, California. Under “Circumstances of Disappearance” it says, “Police believe her disappearance is linked to the disappearance of Rene Michelle Roof. They both have a history of drug use and mental problems”. No further explanation. DoeNetwork was the only source I found this listed on.

This is a repost on the first Jane Doe post I made in this sub.

On August 12, 2024, at approximately 7:30pm, a report came in about an unidentified Jane Doe laying down by the train tracks near Carlsbad Boulevard bridge. She had been spotted by a Coaster Commuter Train Engineer who was traveling northbound. Paramedics were dispatched to the location but were unable to resuscitate the Jane Doe and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jane Doe is estimated to be between the ages of 50-60yrs old, White, around 111lbs, and an estimated height of 5’3”. She had long curly brown hair (Namus lists it as straight), brown eyes, and numerous tattoos. Only a black bra from the brand “Simone Perele”, and a multicolored “Josie Natori” shirt were found on the body.

On my previous post, many people tried to decipher the tattoos. Namus has some of them listed correctly- like her fish tattoo but they list the silhouette of a woman’s body as “curved lines”. Nonetheless, the Jane Doe’s tattoos are very interesting and I had hoped they’d be recognized by now.

Some things to note: -Unidentified Wiki has her death listed as a suicide. I’ve only seen it stated there that this may be a suicide. -identification by fingerprints has been unsuccessful.

I’m sure many are aware that the DoeNetwork website is currently not working. I’m not totally clear on whats going on- the DoeNetwork Facebook page has some insight on the situation. There seems to be some conflict on who should be running the site and how it should be ran. It seems to be an interpersonal problem between the founders family and a member of the DoeNetwork team. I hope this can resolved soon, I will delete this post once it’s fixed.

Ashley Elizabeth Dodges was 17 years old, when she disappeared from Bishop, California on September 13, 2007. She has never been seen again and there are few details available about her case.

Ashley is described as a white female, with a height of 5’3”-5’6” and weight listed as 130lbs. She has brown hair and blue eyes, although some sites list her eyes as brown. Her clothing is described as: a Tinkerbell sweatshirt, levi jeans, flip flops and her navel is pierced.

There seems to be conflicting information on her height and eye color. Though from the picture, I believe blue is correct. I also found an interesting Facebook posts that shared Ashley’s missing person info, Locals from Bishop, California, appear to have never heard of her case.

On January 6, 1996, the skeletal remains of an unidentified female would be discovered in a rural part of Kern County, California, in the Mojave Desert. Found with the body were several pieces of male and female clothing, not described, and a sleeping bag.

Jane doe is described as Black, between the ages of 15-25 years old, with a height estimated between 5’3”-5’5”. Hair, eye color, and weight are unknown. Unidentified Wiki lists a post mortem interval of 4 months, DoeNetwork estimates Jane Doe’s date of death as September 1995, Namus has left the post mortem interval and date of death blank.

Kern County Jane Doe has gone unidentified for 30 years.

DNA & Dentals are listed as unknown, Fingerprints are unavailable.

On September 20, 1992, hikers would stumble upon the skeletal remains of a man along a stream bed in Bear Mountain State Park, in Central Valley, New York.

John Doe is believed to be between the ages of 20-40 years old, White, with an estimated height of 5’8” and an estimated weight listed as 140lbs. Hair and eye color are listed as unknown. John Doe’s estimated year of death is between 1970-1992, post mortem interval is believed to be 20 years.

Central Valley John Doe has gone unidentified for 34 years.

On June 25th, 1983, in Chicago, Illinois, 1-year old Vinyette Teague was left in the care of her grandparents while her parents attended a drive-in movie. Vinyette had been playing in the hallway of the apartment building while her grandmother watched her. The hallway was located on the seventh floor of the Robert Taylor Homes. Approximately 50 people were also out in the hallway, they were relatives of Vinyette and some neighbors.

At 9:30pm, Vinyette’s grandmother stepped inside of her apartment to take a call. When she returned a few minutes later, Vinyette was gone. Despite the large amount of people in the hallway, no one was reported to have seen anything suspicious. There were only three exits. Police were not notified until 3am, after Vinyette’s parents arrived back home from the movies. However, in “Our Black Girls” article, it is stated that when Vinyette’s parents arrived home, the police were already there.

She has been missing for 43 years. It is believed by police that she was abducted by non-family member.

Vinyette Trudy Teague at the time of her disappearance was described as a black female, being 2’8” in height, 27lbs in weight, with black hair styled in short braids, and black eyes. She was wearing a striped multicolored tank top, brown & yellow floral pants, with no shoes or socks on.

Vinyette’s mother, Kathy Teague, believes her daughter is still alive and possibly unaware that she was abducted. “I believe in my heart that she is somewhere living,” said Kathy. “I believe whoever took her is taking good care of her and she does not even know she is missing. Everybody that was there that day my mom, my sister and cousin, they have since passed on. I believe someone saw an opportunity to take a baby by the hallway, and they just took her.” (Kathy Teague, NBC 5 Chicago).

The apartment building has since been demolished.

I am soo bummed this glue isn’t working for me. I’ve been using Curvlife glue, but hated how often the knozzle/applicator would dry out and clog if not careful. I heard so many good things about Beauty Secrets. I actually like the consistency of the glue and the applicator better but all nails lifting after only two days…nawh.

Yes, I did prep my nails. I did them before bed so I wouldn’t touch water for a while. I did my usual routine, I can get nails to typically last two weeks.

On April 5, 1971, near the Nomahegin Brook located inside the Upper Echo Lake Park area in Mountainside, New Jersey, two young boys would discover the skeletal remains of a young girl wrapped tightly in some blankets.

Jane Doe is believed to be possibly white, between the ages of 1-2yrs old (though the article states 2-3 years old), and had strawberry blonde hair. Height, weight, and eye color are listed as unknown. Jane doe was found to be wearing corduroy overalls with straps over both shoulders, a white turtleneck with thin blue stripes, a t-shirt, blue socks that featured a “red clock” design, and a disposable diaper that was secured with yellow safety pins.

The blankets Jane doe was wrapped in is described as a white bed cover and a tan baby blanket. A white handkerchief was found near/with the body. It is believed Jane doe had been deceased for 6 months prior to discovery. No cause of death is listed.

Union County Jane Doe has gone unidentified for 55 years. It is unknown if DNA is available.

On May 12, 1982, the decomposing remains of an unidentified male would be discovered lying east on the rocky bank of the Sacramento River, a mile south of Highway 12 and Highway 160, in Sacramento, California. It is believed the man had accidentally drowned days prior to discovery.

John Doe is described as white, between the ages of 20-30 years old, height estimated between 5’8”-5’10”, and weight is listed as 145lbs. He had curly, dark brown hair, brown eyes, and a slight stubble/beard. On July 19, 1999, in Bolton, Mississippi, the decomposing remains of an unidentified female would be discovered at an oil well near the St. Thomas area of Bolton. The woman’s remains were found to be completely nude and lying on top of a yellow rain jacket, a fragment of black cloth and part of an equipment chain were found alongside the body. The cause of death was determined to be a gunshot to Jane Doe’s abdomen. Postmortem interval is listed as 1-2 weeks prior.

Jane doe is described as Black, with black hair, and eye color listed as unknown, estimated between the ages of 15-25 years old, a height estimated between 5’0”-5’1”, and weight estimated at 110-120lbs. It is believed that Jane Doe had previously gone through childbirth or an abortion.

A man named Ricky Franklin is a suspect in Jane Doe’s murder. Franklin is believed to be behind the murders/disappearances of ten women in 1990s, but has not been charged yet due to lack of evidence. He was however convicted in 2000 for the assault of a man, and again in 2009 for the kidnapping, assault, and rape of a woman.

On June 26, 1983, firefighters would be called to attend the scene of a burning trailer at an abandoned stone quarry. The badly burned remains of an unidentified woman would be recovered from inside the trailer, located in Crescenta Valley, California. Upon examination it was determined that Jane doe had been sexually assaulted, found with a cable wrapped around her neck, and was beaten. A man, Melvin Smith, would go on to be arrested and convicted for the crime. Smith told investigators that he had picked up the Jane doe sometime around 4:00am, from Sepulveda and Ventura boulevard. Smith was given a sentence of 25 years.

Jane doe is described as white, estimated to be between the ages of 16-28yrs old. She had long, blonde, straight hair that had a reddish tint to it. Height, weight, and eye color are listed as unknown. Despite this, Jane doe is described as being small and short in stature, with delicate facial features. Clothing is listed as unknown. Jane doe was found to have some jewelry, such as a yellow metal watch and a yellow metal necklace that had a small pendant attached to it. The Inscription on the pendant is believed to read “14k Gold” or “MK Gold”. An unspecified “metallic item” was also found with Jane Doe.

I’ve seen these nails posted a few times on here and fell in love. They’re not my usual style but I love the sparkle and wanted something fun for my 27th birthday, they also remind me of Ruby’s cake from Max & Ruby. It feels weird getting to this age but 🤷🏻‍♀️

On October 27, 1988, in Orlando, Florida, a couple would discover the body of a man floating face down in the pool of a Super 8 Motel. He is believed to have accidentally drowned hours prior. He had no form of identification.

John Doe is an Asian male, believed to be between the ages of 21-35 years old, height is estimated as 5’9” and weight is listed as 156lbs. He had black, thick hair, that reached his ears and his eyes were brown. A small scar was observed below his right knee and he wore soft contacts. His dentals are available and noted as: natural teeth with restorations and cemented bridge.

John Doe was noted as wearing: a Black shirt with a design on the back of a dog, grey/blue pants that had deep side pockets, a blue belt, white and blue crew socks, black lace-up shoes, and red undershorts. He had a white metal chain necklace that had a small green stone pendant, and a white plastic swatch wristwatch.

A book, “The Warlock is Missing” by Christopher Stasheff, and $0.72, was found in John Doe’s pants pocket.

Orlando John Doe has gone unidentified for 38 years. DNA, fingerprints, and Dentals are available.

-It seems like John Doe was not staying at the motel, or at least he hadn’t been the one to book a room there. I could not find any reports about staff or other motel guests remembering John Doe. Perhaps he wondered into the pool area from elsewhere?

-His necklace sounds like it could be a jade pendant.
