Hey everyone, I’m from Ireland and I was only around 6 when Obama became president in 2009, so I was too young to really understand what was going on at the time.
I’m curious to hear from Americans who remember that period: what did you personally think of Obama when he was president? Did you consider him a good president, and what did you like or dislike about his presidency?
I’m not trying to start an argument or debate — I’m genuinely interested in hearing what people who actually lived through that period thought of him. Thanks!

Hi, I noticed a strange attempted payment on my Revolut card today. Duolingo tried to charge me NT$3,790 (around €103), but I have never bought a Duolingo subscription and I don’t have my Revolut card details saved on Duolingo. The payment was blocked and no money was taken, but Revolut flagged it as suspicious and gave me the option to terminate my card.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is this likely a compromised card, or could it be something else? Also, what happens when I terminate my card — does it affect my Revolut account or my balance or what happens to my money in my account never had this happen before.

Y’all ever have those nights where nothing clicks, and you just die and die and can’t seem to build any kind of momentum? Well, I’m having one of those nights tonight, which sucks because I was looking forward to jumping on some CoD. I get angry way too easily, though, and have to step back so I don’t cause any damage. Can’t be breaking controllers and shit in this economy, lol.
