Final weekend to playtest my solo atmospheric horror game, "A Story of Questions"

Hello everyone,

It’s the final weekend for the playtest of my solo project, „A Story of Questions“. It’s an atmospheric horror game where your choices alter the narrative.

The test runs until June 16th. It’s a special prologue story rather than a part of the main game (though it shares the same style), so no worries about spoilers! You can just hit „Request Access” on the Steam page and try it out

Final free weekend to playtest my choice-driven narrative horror game (11 endings to unlock!)

Hello everyone,

It's the final weekend for the beta playtest of my solo project, "A Story of Questions".

While it's an atmospheric horror setting, the core relies heavily on choice-driven logic, where your decisions branch the story into 11 completely different endings. If you enjoy figuring out branching paths and seeing how subtle choices alter the outcome, I’d love to get your feedback on how the system feels!

How to Play: Just head over to the Steam page, hit "Request Access", and you can jump right in.

I’d love to know how many endings you manage to find and if the choice logic feels rewarding to unravel!

Just launched a 2-week Steam playtest with 11 endings for my solo game, A Story of Questions

Hello everyone,

I just opened up the beta playtest for my solo project, A Story of Questions. It’s an atmospheric horror game where your choices alter the narrative.

Instead of using a random part of the main game, I built a prequel short story with 11 endings for this playtest, in the style and atmosphere as the rest of the game.

The test runs from today until June 16th. I'd really appreciate any feedback on the pacing, atmosphere, or general stability. You can just hit "Request Access" on the Steam page and try it out :-)

Game Title: A Story of Questions

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3598450/A_Story_of_Questions/

Platform: PC (Windows - Steam)

Description: Hi everyone. I just launched the open beta playtest for my game, A Story of Questions, which is an atmospheric mystery/horror game where your choices matter. Instead of using a random part of the main game for a playtest, I built a prequel short story in the style of the main game just for this playtest. It has its own plot and multiple endings depending on your decisions, so you can replay it to see different paths. It's live on Steam right now for the next two weeks. I really need honest feedback on the atmosphere, pacing, and help finding any bugs I missed.

Free to Play Status: Free Playtest on Steam containing its own story with 11 endings (Runs from June 2nd to June 16th)

Involvement: Solo dev. I do all the programming using Blueprints in Unreal Engine 5, and since I'm a 3D modeler, I also made most of the 3D assets myself.
