I've never liked the names of the creatures in the Monsterverse. I'm tired of "Titanus + Deity." I think those kinds of names just show a lack of imagination. They'd be amazing if they weren't real names, but rather the names of the species (for example: Titanus Gojira: Godzilla and Dagon are the same species, but each has its own name). And there are very few REAL names for the Titans, like Shimo, Doug, or the great apes. Because of this, I wondered, what would be better, more classic, and original names for the Titans?

Extremely far-fetched theory

I know it might sound REALLY crazy, but considering how things are going in the MV, it wouldn't surprise me too much, to be honest.

What if, in the future, an organization like Apex Cybernetics takes the remaining parts of Scar King, especially fragments of his brain, and uses parts of fallen titans to create a body called Prometheus/Ginko?

If you could give your life for one of Gamera's discarded films, which one would you choose?

-Gamera vs the Space Icemen

-Gamera vs Two Headed Monster W

-Gamera vs Phoenix: Armaggedon

-Gojira vs Gamera

-Gamera 4 (G4: Truth just for example)

-Gamera Anime (2006

-Gamera Cartoon Network Unititled Series (2007)

-Gamera 3D

Skar King and Ghost

I can't be the only one who finds these two similar. I feel like they could make a pretty cruel couple

Generally speaking, of all the kaiju in this amazing genre, which are your favorites? No matter how obscure they are.

This is an incredibly small list of the TON of kaiju I love, seriously, there are TON:

Anosillus, Legion, Graikis, Dorgo, Cykor, Hakuja, Titanosaurus, Zyva, Kabutojira, Reizaus, Zaninga, Antra, Ganira, Raptros, Rocky Balbouder, Jiger, Multi, Vegaron, Silver Rider and Zoiger

Special mentions to Barugaron, Sugon, Varan, Guiron, Gaw, Dagahra, Zaigorg and Bazanga

This guy is a perfect example that, however irrelevant a character may be, you can always profit from its concept.

Hi everyone, I'm completely new to this franchise, and I wanted to ask something

I've only seen Shin Kamen Rider and Kamen Rider J, but that's as far as I've seen, and I wanted to get into some Heisei series because so far I've liked many of the products from this era (Gojira, Gamera, Ultraman, etc.), especially the series or movies connected to a universe. So I wanted to know which series from the Heisei era are connected, from any universe, and in what order I should watch them.

In short, I want to know which Heisei series are connected to each other and how they are connected (order of series or movies if they have).

Am I the only one who thinks Rodan deserved this movie more than Gojira?

I've always thought that Godzilla x Megaguirus should have been a Rodan vs. Megaguirus movie or a standalone Rodan (1956) sequel. Gojira in that film has nothing to do with the Meganulons, while Rodan is literally their main predator. They could have shown Rodan and Megaguirus in an even more incredible aerial battle than what we saw in GxM, and a "predator trying to hunt its prey" scenario would make more sense. Besides, of Toho's Big Five, Rodan is the only one who hasn't had a truly significant role. Gojira would be too much to mention. Mothra had her own Heisei trilogy and comic, King Ghidorah had his Showa "trilogy" (GtTHM, IotAM, and DAM) where he's presented as the greatest and most powerful threat of all, and Mechagodzilla had his Showa "duology" and his Kiryu duology, while Rodan only has his original movie and a purely ally role in most of his other appearances.

You're a Japanese screenwriter in 1972. Suddenly, Daiei, which hasn't had any financial problems (i.e., it hasn't gone bankrupt and has a moderately high reputation in the industry), contacts you and offers you the opportunity to direct the next Gamera movie, titled Gamera vs. W. You have complete creative freedom for this film (but it must be faithful to the Showa era of Gamera). How would you approach this discarded film?

Here are all the creatures from the images with their official names or their Japanese equivalents (for example, the giant lizard becomes Ootokage or the giant scorpion becomes Oosasori). I also included the movie in which they were going to appear, whether it was a completed film or a scrapped one:

-Gojira (KingGoji)

-Ootokage (Giant Lizard)

-Oodako (Giant Octopus)

-Oosasori (there's no image about him so the image is the Black Scorpion from the movie with the same name) (Giant Scorpion)

-Ebirah

-Ookondoru (Giant Condor)

-Mosura

-Gorosaurus

-Umihebi (Giant Sea Serpent)

-Mechani Kong

Should I watch Ultraman Trigger and Ultraman Decker? I recently finished Ultraman Dyna, and I'd already seen Tiga a while ago. I liked both series (although I found Dyna a bit boring in the first few episodes, and I still don't like Asuka). With that, I finished the duology of that universe (possibly my favorite of them all). I became very interested in the Sphere as villains in Dyna, and while researching them, I came across Decker and Trigger, and that they were related to the Neo Space Frontier Space duology. So, should I watch those series?

I'm watching Ultraman Dyna (at first I found it very boring, but as the episodes went on I liked it more and more, I recommend it) and when I got to episode 44 I came across this guy and everything about him reminded me of Gamera, so I went to the Ultraman wiki to investigate if it was just me and indeed, he is an homage to Gamera (also to Gojira but I hardly saw anything of him)
