Bought the "The Frame Pro LS03HW Glare Free with Neo QLED | Wireless One Connect" and it turns out to be frameless and wired.

Issue 1:

Wireless isn't so wireless when it has to be within 5 feet of the TV. I have to run a wire across my room to get the box close enough for the TV to work. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there any fix?

Issue 2:

There are no Samsung frames available for the 75" TV. I am looking for something similar to the one Samsung sells, clean and modern, in a lwhite oak light finish. Does anyone know where I can buy one?

TENS Unit helpful for tics

There was a study about using a TENS unit for tic relief. It’s the same theory as the Neupulse, but obviously not wearable. I am surprised it isn’t mentioned more often here. It stimulates the median nerve. I tried to figure it out placement on myself, but I couldn’t, so I went to a physical therapist and he showed me how to place the pads on my son, who I knew would freak out if I had to move things around while I figured it out. This is the placement we used and it brought my son significant relief from his tics! Hoping it might help someone here. I bought the TENS machine on Amazon and you need to make sure it has a setting around 10-12hz. 10 is enough for my son. We leave it on for about 15 minutes or so, until he feels relaxed and then he asks to take it off. You know the median nerve it activated when the pinky/ring/middle finger start to twitch.

Here is the placement recommendation from the university. We had extra pads and decided to add them.

Can we talk about West Haven pizza?

I’m in New Haven a few times a year and try to stop for pizza. Last summer all of the usual spots had a line and I didn’t want to wait so I went looking for a different spot. I ended up at Zuppardi’s Apizza in West Haven. I think it was probably the best clam pizza of my life. Has anyone else tried it? I need to get back there. I daydream about that pie.

$7,900 Sunroof Leak

I don't even have words to describe my fury. I have a 2019 V90, it's my second Volvo. I always tell people how much I love it and how it's so free of issues compared to my previous car which was a BMW Wagon. My car started having a few random errors two weeks ago. I brought it to the dealership a week ago and today they finally got back to me. Apparently there was a leak in the rear sunroof that has fried muliple modules. There was no way I could have know the water was getting into the car. It was $1700 to just take apart the rear to see the issue. I want to vomit. Has anyone had any luck getting them to absorb any of these costs? I'm just finding out this is a common issue they don't seem to have fixed. Are any of the class action lawsuits still going on?

What size is this? Trying to log all of my hooks in Ravelry and don’t know where to add it.

I have this tiny hook that must have been my grandmother’s. What size is it? I’m a knitter, so I’m not very familiar with crochet hooks. Mainly use them to pick up stitches, crochet edges, etc. this one has me stumped.

TENS Placement

So, I read yesterday about using a TENS machine and the Emeterm band. The Emeterm band arrived this morning and my son says it’s helping. Might be the placebo effect, but I want to try a TENS. Can’t seem to find anything that explains the placement of the pads. I see them on the arm, but I’m assuming they need to go in a very specific place. Does anyone know? Thanks!

Asymmetrical Curtains

I normally prefer bare windows, but we have a guest cottage outside of these sliders that is directly in the line of sight, so for both our sake and our guests I’d like to add a little something. I have two issues- the sliders are off center because eventually there will be an addition to the left of the sliders. I’m struggling to have the rod extend too far out from the doors on the left, but I also don’t want to cover too much of the doors with the curtain. I’m also not thrilled to have the window next to it bare. I’m not interested in blinds. I’m overthinking this. Thoughts?

Excuse the art placement. The room is in flux and everything needs to move.

What is this between our ponds?

Our property used to be a farm many, many years ago. We have two ponds with a brook flowing through them. The upper pond is much more shallow ~2-3’ and lower pond is at least 7’, my husband has tried to reach the bottom with an oar and it’s deeper than that. This structure is between with two ponds. I thought it might have been a mill, but other people think it was just built as a dam to make the upper pond. I don’t understand what the two openings are for if that’s the case. There is usually a waterfall on the small opening on the left and when it rains there are waterfalls on both sides. It’s lovely. Don’t know what the purpose is though. Anyone know or can you suggest sub that might be able to help? Excuse the upper pond. A huge white pine fell into it and the water is ridiculously low and not moving so we have a duckweed infestation.

How due I fix irregular texture due to frogging?

Soooo, I started this Sophie scarf and frogged it due to an error. The first third was knitted with the yarn that had been frogged. It was yarn bumpy/wavy due to the frogging. I was hopeful the texture of the knit would even out when I blocked it. It helped a bit, but it’s still not great. I’m thinking I tug the whole scarf a bit once it’s dry and maybe reblock. The photo that shows both ends of the scarf if before blocking and the other two are just after blocking. It’s still wet. The yarn is Merino Cloud from Artyarn- 80% Wool - Merino and 20% Goat - Cashmere goat. Any suggestions appreciated.

Whopping native planting

In the past two weeks I’ve planted
928 Pennsylvania sedge
54 Pink Mulhy grass
95 Marginal wood ferns

100 more marginal wood ferns and 100 ostrich ferns to go.

Question, so any of the native plant societies pay for knee replacements?
