Need some outside opinion on this suspicious watch with Elgin’s Knights of Pythias Uniform Rank dial art from 1889

From my research the dial art is from Elgins pocket watch for Knights of Pythias Uniform Rank but it is missing the trademark on the dial furthermore the person who is selling the watch also sold the watch on the last pic. My question is; is this a “Frankenstein” watch, made with a printed dial art and antique mechanism or is it from late 19th ct- early 20th ct

FBI wasn’t the only organization that did spying during the Civil Rights era

you can find about Anti Defamation League on this FBI document on internet archive:https://archive.org/details/AntiDefamationLeagueLosAngeles1\_201707 .

During the Civil Rights era ADL was spying on many groups you that were very diverse. It included civil rights groups, far right and far left militia and notably MLK( even though he was relatively good terms with ADL, they deemed him “unstable” for his support for a palestinian state)

Note: I really need to learn how to use Adobe photoshop on phone

Only Volume II but was owned by John Towne Danson esq (Juvenal and Persius 1789)=> see description for moe info

In my trip to Greece I have visited a second hand shop(whose employee was a friendly guy) after seeing the rare shop that I was going to visit closed, there I have purchased this book with two other one due to I wanted to own something I can read and having an interesting ownership marks.

After some research I have found out that the owner of this book was the underwriter of Thames & Mersey Marine Insurance and also was a journalist at The Daily News working under Charles Dickens.

He was elected a fellow in the year of 1880 to the Statistical Society of London, became member of Liverpool Literary & Philosophical Society at 1856.

This whole research was relatively easy(easier than all other previous owners of my books in my collection at least); just a quick search on duckduckgo+ texts in internet archive was enough

This is definitely an upgrade from my 8x32 binoculars( Bundeswehr Hensoldt Dienstglas 10x50

Although both lens‘ needs some cleaning(one is pretty bad) and a thorough cleaning and minor repairs overall, it was a decent pick for 45€. I still don’t know how it ended up in turkey though.

A historical capsule for the years 1910-1918 and 1940-1946, Michael Unterassingers cash register

To start I got this book from my trip to Wien in a flea market for just 2€.
The first half of the cash register is Michael Unterassingers cash registry book for his shoe making job in Innsbruck Maximillianstraße 41(which has still the same name) from the year 1910 to 1918(The Great War period).

Then the book remains unused until the year 1940 by another person(this is my assumption) till the after war period. These parts are interesting for two reasons; firstly you can see at the start of 1945 he wrote “Mit Gott zum Sieg”(with god to victory) which is a patriotic term used in Austria during first World War and in the contrast the entry for the start of 1946 which is(I think) “Mitt Gott […] Friedensjahr”(with god […] peace year). Secondly the entry for the May of 1945 is missing(1945 April is page 4 and 1945 Juni is page 5, there is no May), which coincides with the Allied invasion of Innsbruck at May 1945.

Lastly some memorials for his customers, neighbors and friends.

Note: I am not good at writing long posts so please excuse me
