Targets who were tied to Providence one way or the other

Redo of old post of mine, but I did the best I could to fix any error to my old list

Anyone else felt like the last two episodes felt rushed?

Looking back here after months of mostly radio silence, and I do now kind of think that episodes 7 & 8 might probably be the weakest episodes of the game.

I do think time and budget were definitely massive hindrances for both of these two here, as we have:

-Weird pacing all around

-The game was definitely trying too hard to try and make us doubt Visi and to reaffirm our trust in her

-More of a me problem, but I just didn't really get much of a presence from Shroud or the ring until the last two episodes(I go more into it in this post)

There were some other problems but these are the ones I had in mine.

Again, all of theses issues could have been time and budget fucking Adhoc over but still.

What do you all think?

Least Evil Target In Each Game

(Inverse of the last post)

C47-Blue Lotus Emissary

This guy was sent in to try and clear things with the Red Dragons after the later triad's negotiator was killed and the Blue Lotus was framed for it, but as we know this was all a set up from the ICA and 47 to start a war between both triads just so Red Dragons boss Lee Hong can be killed(courtesy of Ort-Meyer), I mean being a notable member of the triads

2SA-Igor Kubasko

Not really much to go off of this guy other than that he was General Makarov's(the second of the Russian generals that we had to kill)contact in the Russian mob, and the two were cooperating just so they can investigate on the events of the last mission with the death of the first general, not much we can say about most of the 2SA targets, so were just going with what we got with them.

Contracts-Klass Teller

This poor bastard was sent by the crooked mayor of Rotterdam to steal back some comprising photos of him that was being held by a criminal biker gang that were planning to use those photos as blackmail and to sell them to higher bidders, problem is that Teller was caught and is now being tortured by the bikers in their basement, and so the mayor had the ICA send 47 to kill the gang's leader, steal the photos and to also kill Teller to failing the first time and likely just so he won't traced back to the mayor, an unfortunate victim of circumstance if there ever was.

Blood Money-Rick Henderson

Another poor bastard who was just simply doing his job, was sent to interview Franchise leader: Alexander Leland Cayne, just to interview about Vice President Morris's asasinnatiion, little did he know about the ride he was about to enter, since as the game goes on we see Cayne give him a bunch of lies about the events about the events of the missions all the way up to 47's "funeral" at the end, likely all apart of Cayne's plan to try and outlaw cloning after the failed attempt to assassinate the president, with him bringing Rick and giving him "the scoop of the century" as a way to spread fear about cloning to the public. All in all, Rick did not know what he was getting too, and simply put: wrong place, wrong time. His death was an unfortunate necessary evil, all just so 47's existence can remain a secret.

Absolution-Jade Nguyen

She's an interesting case, she's Benjamin Travis's assistant, and from what we were told about her(in the game and the "Damnation" novel), she's actually pretty ambitious and hoped to rise in the ranks in the ICA to take Travis's spot as a division head, apparently the devs also stated that she often disagrees with Travis, what is interesting though, was how she was going to be in a original ending for Absolution, already made a post about this but TL:DR, she was originally wasn't going to be a target(or at least a main one), after 47 kills Travis, Jade shows up, apologizes on behalf of the ICA, said that Travis was doing his shit behind their backs, and offered 47 to join back in the agency, looks like was made a main target at the last minute but it would have been interesting to see this ending in action, especially since her OG ending fits her character more.

Once again, separating WOA into categories:

H1-Penelope Graves

We all know this gal, former Interpol agent and now strategic advisor in Grey's militia, yes, we know she's was probably way in over her head and didn't know how Rose was going to use her for initiation, but ngl, I am kind of tired about how people woobify her and calling her actually innocent, even though Penelope still willingly and knowingly decided to join in a terrorist organization, especially with someone like Sean Rose leading this part of the militia's cell, she still might be the least evil target in Season 1, but I still think people treat like a baby too much.

H2-Sinhi Venthan(AKA Akka)

The cold-blooded leader of group of pirates who is now in cahoots with the militia after Noel Crest took over leadership(despite Grey telling them to stand them down), she might be cold blooded but it does show she does have a bit of a soft spot as exemplified by her relationship with Farah(town store owner and foster parent) and also has a soft spot with businessman Lance Hsu who Crest and his men killed, feeling some pity over his death and even kills Crest in retaliation over it. Now yes, with her being a pirate leader who has lead attacks in the pacific is still bad, when you look at the damage that lot of the other target in Season 2 have or potentially could have done, she's pretty low in comparison.

H3-The Berlin 11 From Apex Predator

More individuals who were just doing their jobs and didn't know about the shit going on around them around, as they were tasked to kill 47 from their client(who just so happened to be Edwards) not knowing what's really going on behind the scenes. Yeah, they might have underestimated 47 and there's an occasional d-bag comment but once again, they are just doing what they were tasked to do.

Side Missions-Dino Bosco

Asshole actor who's career filled with scandals for being an extremely difficult to work with on set who's recent venture is taking over the production nearly putting a film studio to bankruptcy, so said studio had the ICA send 47 to kill him, a bit overkill, don't you think? Yeah, he's an asshole but he's nowhere near as bad as a lot of the other targets in the series.

Elusive Targets: Gary Busey

...Yup, this guy was just goofing off around set, and the film crew simply lost millions all because Busey simply didn't want to join in on an advertisement...and he has the power of invisibility...Yep, Diana was right, an odd one indeed.

Who's the most successful protagonist?

I know it's likely gonna be Tommy, but I like to hear everyone else's answers

Find it funny each time you open the options menu, it's just Ms. Ames saying random shit

There was also one line about Tupac on there.

Also, hey Karen is also here

This meme will only make sense in the future(hopefully)

Back in December, Pierre Shorette(narrative director and a writer for Dispatch) did talked about wanting Season 2 to have a more serious tone this time around.

So would it be funny if the games get more serious as they go along?

Season 2 wish: Better Main Villain Presence

As the title says, I just want the new villain to have a bigger presence.

Since ngl, besides the opening for episode 1, I kind of put Shroud and the Red Ring to the side in my mind because of everything else going on.

Yeah, there's Lightningstruck in episodes 2 and 3, but bro is a petty thief so..., yeah there's some lines and calls and lines in the game about the ongoing presence of Red Ring and enhanced but I don't really get a sign of that going on since everything else that's happening in the story is overshadowed and those said moments are mainly throwaways.

Even the bar fight in episode 5 didn't really give them a presence since Robert and the Z-Team walloped them easily.

Honestly, really the only time I felt like like Shroud and the Red Ring had a presence was the last two episodes(plus the last minute of episode 6)of the game where I did felt a presence but by that time, I felt like it was too little, too late, I didn't really felt like something big was going to happen until the end of the game and every other mention that's said in the game excluding episode 1 feels overshadowed and treated like throwaways.

I like Shroud, but he honestly had more of a presence in the two paywalled side-comics he's in rather than how he was in the main game. All in all, yeah, another big wish, is just having the villain get a bigger presence

How come we didn't see any of the superpowered goons puke from the proto-pulse?

Weird thing to ask, and might just a nitpick from me, but I always did kind of find it weird that besides Shroud, the only other ringers we see puking are just the regular generic goons.

Unless it's some lame shit like how it only affects them but then what about Armstrong then, he doesn't have powers and the roboarms are just to overcompensate for his mini-arms, and we didn't see him puking while trying to hold P-Man.

Plus I would have wished to have seen Toxic puke not only because it'll ne funny as shit but it would have also giving us some funny irony considering how much was complimenting the augments back in episode 1, so seeing him getting bit in ass through vomiting would have again, given us some good irony.

Again, probably just me nitpicking, but I still find it odd.

Jade's offer

Original ending of sorts for Absolution, where Jade offers 47 to join back in the ICA after he killed Travis, would have been pretty interesting to see in the final game, if Jade wasn't a target(or at the very least: be an optional target)
