Which mid lane champions do you think kind of..are the best to play from an enjoyment standpoint?

I been playing mid a long time, and the more I play mid the more I struggle to identify a high apm champion in the lane that doesnt feel cheap. I used to main Azir a lot and had a great win rate but I've just always had this feeling in back of my mind like he is kinda cheap. He has no real weaknesses other than basically just being weak early. He just has too much, and I feel the same about Yone.

They dont feel like Lee Sin, or Nidalee, or Ezreal. I know orianna is kinda the renekton of mid lane but she is kinda boring after a few games.

Zoe I like but the wave management for Zoe just eats at her freedom so badly, while Yasuo is just....idk...he is underwhelming. I'm not great at him, but just as a champion kit he is pretty underwhelming. He is like irelia, people just kinda neutralize him in lane and shut down all interaction. Like Yasuo's win con is...freezing. It's like the opposite of playing for fun. Jayce is fun, though I think the slow and damage of hammer form Q is a bit much for how low CD the spell is. Tough lanes too

I have so much more fun playing support

I feel Zoe kinda clears waves a little slowly, and the maintenance of a wave just takes away so much of her enjoyment. When I play support its my full time job to find picks for the team, so the world is my oyster. When I'm mid I feel like I have a tiny little quadrant of the map that I have to keep going back to every 10 seconds to deal with my laner.

Laning leaves a little something to be desired, but overall it just feels more fun

What champions work well as flankers in top lane?

My friend plays urgot a lot and has always had a hard time finding another champ. Tanks rarely work out for him, and I think mundo/sion/cho are a bit slow scaling for him. He recklessly engages alot, preferring to fight, but for some reason urgot just works well for him. He has tried the other roles but I think ultimately he is a top laner. He usually wins but nasty flanks, like almost all of his triple/quadra/etc kills are a tp in a spot nobody saw with an ult and just walking in and fearing everything + one shotting people.

Reallt just curious who else is like urgot in that sense. He thinks darius/zaheen are too slow

He likes Morde a lot, but he doesnt like how weak morde is before 6. He is extremely aggressive level 1 with urgot, often getting first blood within 2 minutes in like 70-80% of our games

Best alternatives to Nidalee Playstyle?

I like Kindred...but some games it just feels like cant do anything no matter how fed. End of day she is an ADC so her solo carry potential is limited I suppose. Is there someone else like Nidalee that is more reliable?

Which champion in the top lane plays most like renekton?

In the sense that they can kinda go toe to toe with everyone. They can play into anyone and survive decent enough and still have some skill expression/kill threat if their opponent messes around too much. No real hard counters and a lot of tit for tat laning

Why would I want to play top lane?

I mean what happened to lanes being fun. What happened to champions being close enough to where just because you die once you're not out of the game. Or taking like 3-4 deaths to really put you out.

Sure renekton vs darius is an absolute blast.

Sure Jax vs fiora is fun.

Hell fighting ksante is pretty fun

But those lanes are FEW and far between. I mean they are seriously rare. Every time I play top lane I either play against a ranged top laner, or I play into illaoi/morde just overbearingly strong all lane and instantly take you to pound town if you call your jungler for 1 brief moment of relief, or I play into mundo and garen standing 10 miles back never interacting and then becoming a split push lane trapper, or jayce or rumble. Or its just a straight up heinous counterpick

I mean that lane has just become absolute garbage, I really struggle to see what people like about playing it. At least in the other lanes you usually get some give and take, or you get to play in some of the objectives and do something different.

top lane is just 25-30 minutes of straight up 1v1 against an extremely uninteractive lane opponent in 80-90% of matches

Like someone tell me I'm crazy but lanes should not be instantly decided or decided in 1 kill man or over a couple minions. You gotta have some give and take and back and forth to have some fun surely...laning is like...30% of the game. How is it such a crazy concept to people that you should be able to outplay your opponent if you're 2 kills down still. Doesnt that make the game fun??? Top lane is literally you miss 3 minions and its gg sometimes. and then you suffer for it for 10 minutes? The punishment is wayyyy oversized.

If illaoi in lane wasnt so egregious, she would probably be a really popular top laner

Has the penta kill threat and scales really well. Kinda a raid boss and ungankable. I feel like because her laning is so frustrating they keep her weak, whereas if they just rolled it into something else or made it operate differently she would become very popular

Who is the best designed champion?

I really like Jihn and Jax. Jihn because he stays consistent through the game, has thematic and unique gameplay, can be safe and plenty of skill expression. Jax because he kinda always has a trick up his sleeve, itemization in a bunch of different ways, deceptively tanky, deceptively mobile, deceptively high damage, always down for a fight

Honorary Mentions: Sylas for pure game variability. Always something creative you can think up and no 2 games are the same. Renekton for being like gnar, always having a presence, but much more basic and respectable in the sense that he has to commit to do anything. He just gets the job done

Which jobs in infrastructure construction most resemble something like a kitchen environment, or a event set up operator?

Basically I'm saying not really heavy labor so much as fast paced movement, coordination, and spatial problem solving. Maybe more walking and working with your hands or working within a team in a smaller area but coordinating together quickly and moving at a very fast pace within that small area of operations OR being a sort of walking triage agent

What is a day in the life of a superintendent like?

How much is meetings, how much is paperwork, and how much is genuine problem solving? Are you more like a coordinator than a manager? What is the type of problem solving that you do, is it structural problem solving/implementation problem solving, or is it contractor/subcontractor scheduling problem solving?

Basically its like what are you doing? Are you the mcgyver, or are you more of a project owner?

Is there anywhere in tampa area that just has outdoor dancing every night

Just some outdoor music that you can relax and dance to no big deal or pressure. Almost like a town square type environment, kinda like what you see in the villages

This season is really well done

I love the crystals on the towers, and how tanky they are. The atakhan is gone so the rose petals aren't important. Overall it just feels like the pace of the game is really nice and makes plenty of room for both teamfights and skirmishing (at least at emerald level)

What is the win con map condition of bruisers?

Talking renekton, wukong, vi, jarvan, etc.

Basically mobile fighters. They are so versatile and basically can always fight anyone at nearly any time, but what map state do they live and thrive in. Are they bad at teamfights ultimately or what is their situation?

What role sits directly between operations and logistics within a disaster setting or a low resource environment?

I'd really love to be the person who gets invited to the war room, is given a spreadsheet of all the materials/chemicals/trucks that we have on hand and is asked to collaborate with others to jerry rig a solution. I'm really good at repurposing materials in ways that they aren't really "designed for", like functional fixedness.

I stay really cool under pressure and am just a "yes it would be nice to have those things but this is what we've got lets figure out how to make it work."

I've been in software engineering, analytics, and product management for a few years now and I just have no passion for the gig, would really love to be in a role that pushes my understanding of what materials, chemicals, and machinery can be used for in a way that is in a low resource situation and you dont have the specialized tools for the job

When should you actually pick Nidalee?

She is my favorite champion to play, but I cannot lie there have been many times that picking her went awful. Like if I have little cc on my team, or if I first pick her and they pick Naafiri. I understand that her neutral game is remarkably good, and that she is a very self sufficient champ in that its hard to lock her out of her own jungle reliably with the long range vision control and ability to wall hop with ease.

But ive noticed pros pick her rarely. She had a niche, trying to understand exactly when that is

Is there an alternative or type of BJJ that uses less neck submissions?

Got told the stacking and front loaded neck cranks wouldnt be great for me. Wondering if there is a type of BJJ or a close alternative that isnt so much about neck submissions and would still be fun/involved. I dont wanna do just boxing because I really enjoy the wrestling aspect of the sport.

How to lower the sound of rapper in song?

I really like "Life and Times" with Joey badass but i feel like the production isnt loud enough relative to his voice. is there a way i can lower volume by timbre rather than frequency. My guess is the frequency if his voice might be the same frequency as some of the beat/production's frequency so it might be hard to isolate

How do you have a family within the operational cadre?

I really love the idea of disaster response operations and being both boots on the ground initially, moving into a role more like boris/legasov from chernobyl long term...but I just dont see how you can have a family being deployed for 300+ days a year.

Does that kind of deployment time continue as you move up the operational chain? I could do 300+ day deployments for 4 or 5 years, but it would be very tough to still not have a family come 10 years from now or have one and be away from them literally all year. Just seems really tough to reconcile
