Idk if this is harsh but no other sub can take it apparently so here I am…I’m comparing This & That and The Sin: Bliss and why I loved one and disliked the other as fans of both

TW: My Opinion

This & That—Stray Kids: I’m a huge fan of ENHYPEN’s music and only within the past few months began liking Stray Kids’ stuff and understanding the devoted stays out there but oh my god, I did not expect This & That to be so much better than The Sin: Bliss imo. I’ll fully explain my complaints with Enhypen’s newest album later, but for now its biggest problem is this album’s biggest strength. Run It, After You and This & That are all some of my definite favorite releases of 2026, and its middle of the album also has some pretty good songs like I Do and Farming. It’s diverse and has a lot of instant adds to my playlist. I was rly pleasantly surprised.
The Sin: Bliss—ENHYPEN: I was pretty disappointed when hearing this for the first time a few minutes ago. And yes I do like music the more I listen to it so maybe some will really grow on me I just don’t know if it’ll ever grow on me to the level I had expected when waiting for this album’s release. I just feel pretty underwhelmed by this. Don’t get me wrong it has a lot of decent songs like Bloody Paradise, Checkmate, and Highlight, however back to my point from This & That. They are all really decent to me. That’s it decent. Solid songs but they will probably not come near my top 50 kpop releases of 2026 list. Bloody Paradise is the only one that’s close but honestly they were right for hyping up the chorus because the low parts of the song were not really it for me. To me they didn’t have any Run It or After You level songs, so this just led it being mid to me, when I was expecting like practically god level music because of how much I love their music.

What do you guys think about both of them in comparison if you are a simple music listener or both a Stay and Engene too? :)

What do y’all think about the new Hot Topic Wild merch?

There’s also still some cool merch from Pinky Up available.
IMO, the long sleeved shirt is the biggest win.
Always gimme some boyseye, it’s a solid shirt and I prefer wearing long sleeved shirts so getting merch like that, that isn’t a hoodie was awesome! Hope it looks good in person. Ig I’ll find out when it arrives yay.
The boyseye shirt looked a bit strange, I love the look and photo but a fully white shirt until them felt a bit odd to me, I felt they could’ve detailed it a bit more, but it is just a simple, effective t-shirt.
The black t-shirt is the same, relatively simple, has them and it’s another t-shirt option if you didn’t like the first one. And the hoodie, if the long sleeved shirt didn’t exist I would’ve definitely debated on it, because like a hoodie is a hoodie and the wild design especially how the letters on bottom looked was well done to me.
Most of them felt very safe and simple, but personally I don’t love being super noticeable in public so I think it’s perfectly fine but ig to some it may not really embody wild completely.
Idk what do you guys think, did you buy/or want any?

The “Let Yoonchae Speak” comments are simply annoying and not as thoughtful as some people like to think they’re being

Recently there’s been many interviews where different members do the bulk of the talking, yet every single time the entire comment section is like “why are they all so mean”, “Let Yoonchae freaking speak”, “just ignoring her”.
They’re so foolish to me, because do people seriously think they’re trying to isolate not only a fellow member but one of their best friends? That they’re purposefully ignoring her and cutting her off, not caring about what she has to offer in different conversations.
I just finished the hour long recent interview with Nicky Reardon, and I already see so many comments demanding they “let” Yoonchae speak, simply because she doesn’t speak that much even when being addressed. I’m not dissing Yoonchae, some people are more comfortable speaking than others, it just baffles me why people still think the other members are intentionally “being rude to her” and not coming to the conclusion that maybe she doesn’t want to speak that much. It’s not unprofessional, it’s simply her character and personal feelings.

After Friday I’m gonna feel so empty lmao…today we were absolutely FED (Wild Hearts and Animal Tonight Show Performance)

It feels like I’ve been waiting for Wild since forever and I’m sure some people can agree. But I felt like today was the day I’ve been anxiously awaiting for the past month. And it’s over 😭.
Wild Hearts was great, and then their interview was decent. It was pretty short, but the animal performance at the end was awesome.
I’m glad I still have the Wild EP to look forward to for a few more hours, because dang do I already feel just like empty 😂. I’m glad for today but dang finishing things you’ve been excited to see for a while is so bittersweet sometimes.
But wild comes out in less than 24 hours folks!!!!

261208 My Wild Hearts Review

Wild Hearts was awesome, I’ve been excited since its teaser, and I genuinely love every piece of new content given. I love the girls and their personalities, I felt it really shone. Megan speaking about mental health, Dani telling the haters to “bleep off”, etc.
It was nice seeing them really grow and lean into the wild era.

That being said, I have one major complaint about the thing as a whole.
I thought, especially from a trailer that had Sophia praising the journey of KATSEYE, we’d actually see the journey. I’m aware this was probably made to hype up Wild, but I felt like it didn’t show anywhere near their journey because it was very recency focused. It showed Pinky Up a lot, same with Animal, and while we did get some new content, most of it was released.
I just don’t know how I was supposed to see the journey when it basically just showed them see their house for the first time, talk about their roommates for a minute then boom touch then gnarly then Gabriela with some concerts in between and then back to Wild.
I saw a rumor there was a lot of unseen Dream Academy clips and wow was that false. There were practically no new clips from there. And the friend I dragged along who I had forced to watch Dream academy with me prior to going did not need that introduction at all. Because it really just focused on the now. But while I was sad to not really see a change or growth I do understand it is to hype up wild, and sometimes you really do need to show recent things because that’s what matters now in the present.
So the biggest ugh to me was simply how 75% of the film was already published content.
I wanted to come out of an already short documentary (only 80 minutes) with a lot more knowledge and detail, and left with a lot of repetition.
As a bit of nerdy Eyekon who enjoys all their content I’ve seen all their interviews and behind the scenes videos, and most of what was shown in the documentary was taken from that.
And I understand, like those are awesome behind the scenes things, except it just felt like an organized rewatch.
Don’t think I’m hating, because while I sort of wanted more, I also absolutely adored it.
I love seeing the girls and honestly so many great moments were shown.
Like them getting a bit down by gnarly hate (and actively watching some hate videos) but still performing it impeccably. Or just them being appreciative and brutally honest. And even playful, (Meichae fans were FED, and I was satisfied immensely from that). It also showed Megan being sick which was a great explanation to her absence in a lot of recent interviews. We knew she was sick but seeing it felt different.
But the BEST part out of it. Definitely the unloveu segment. We got to hear so much, and genuinely I never thought I’d appreciate Lara’s talent and work ethic more but I keep doing so. The song sounds great and the work behind it was really cool to see.

I’m done 😭
If y’all made it this far and saw it already what did you think?

Instead of complaining about nowadays kpop, make it better!

Since I enjoy kpop (and KATSEYE which tends to also bring me a very kpop fyp) most of my fyp on all social media platforms are filled to the brim in kpop content. And I keep seeing this to a point it’s starting to annoy me.
So many videos getting posted and likes are
“Why I hate nowaday kpop” or “why current kpop is boring and sucks” etc.
It just baffles me that their idea to make a better less toxic kpop environment is to just continue spamming different hate and negativity towards kpop, the community they apparently “adore”.
No one holds a gun to someone’s face MAKING them listen to kpop. If you’re starting to hate it then leave, and don’t just continue telling yourself you do like it and then proceed to constantly say why it’s annoying and you hate it now

What Kpop Demon Hunter songs would go to real life Kpop groups?

So I was playing my playlist and right after bad desire by enhypen played, your idol by the Saja boys played, which only made me think how your idol is such a enhypen coated song imo.
So that led me to this, out of the seven songs from the movie:
Your Idol & Soda Pop—Saja Boys
Free—Rumi and Jinu
Takedown, Golden, How It’s Done, What It Sounds Like—Huntrix
Which real life kpop groups would you give each to?
Also most likely a bg would tend to get the Saja boys songs and vv, but if you feel strongly that a gg would get any of the Saja boys songs or vv feel free to share your thoughts.

I haven’t thought about it enough but here are some of my early thoughts
ENHYPEN—Your Idol
Soda Pop—Kickflip

What do y’all think? Don’t like thr question don’t feel the need to respond :)

A pet peeve of mine is when I see most KATSEYE content creators blur some scenes from MVs and get so much compliments for it

Don’t get me wrong, you do you, and if blurring things make you comfortable then okay.
What I don’t understand is the concept of content creators almost “needing” to blur an obvious and intentional scene in a MV.
Like, if you’re an Eyekon and you already know enough about the mv or choreo to know it has such motions (or revealing details) why are you intentionally clicking on something that contains that, because most likely you knew it was gonna have that. There’s a difference between someone personably not wanting to see it, and saying praise and respect to the creator for blurring it because nobody should be seeing it.
And honestly, if you already know a particular MV contains something you don’t want to see, relying on content creators to censor every single version of it isn’t exactly a reliable solution.
You can choose not to watch that content too or only listen to a song’s audio version.

This could be just a me thing tho lol

Will unloveu (Wild’s exclusive target track) be available on music platforms like Spotify and Apple Music?

Simple question, sorry if I’m being stupid lol

Can we normalize letting people enjoy “watching their idols” and that them wanting to see behind the scenes isn’t only the action of a stalking lowlife?

This is coming from me as a fan of KATSEYE, who got tickets to their upcoming documentary film, Wild Hearts, but I’ve seen it a lot in kpop too so I decided to post it here to see if maybe people can relate.
For the KATSEYE documentary, the amount of comments I’ve seen about bitter fans saying this movie is only a rushed cash grab that is for the “parasocial fans who feel the need to be in their business” is so stupid to me.
Like do they want this to sell? Duh, but the fact it’s a bunch of clips from pre debut through beautiful chaos through wild should prove it was probably planned years ago. And with a new EP coming out it’s the perfect way to hype it up. Especially considering Lara said how she and the members felt they all grew up and finally found themselves it does make sense.
But yeah, the sad part about kpop is anytime you want to “get to know” the idols you like, it’s immediately because you’re a low live who probably thinks they’re in a relationship with you. Like no.
Why do we buy their merch? Because it’s supporting them and fun?
Why do we want to watch their lives? Because it’s enjoyable and cool to see.
Idk why the views are suddenly drastically changed when it’s a film instead….
Not everyone is unrealistic, it’s cool to see the life behind a person you “idolize” no matter your age or where you are in life.
Yes you gotta be appropriate and realistic but immediately dissing anyone who would want to go to something like this because it’s for the people that need their drama and business is very stereotyping and just naive.
Of course there’ll be unrealistic toxic stans but enjoying something you have a passion for doesn’t instantly make you a loser in life that has nothing better to do.
The end lmao :)

I can already sense the three active members relying on Lara on the Tonight Show to talk

It was announced on August 12th they’ll be on The Tonight Show with Fallon. And after Sophia’s break was announced, it’s safe to assume the role of temporary leader and media expert will go to Lara. Recently we’ve been seeing a lot of Lara taking control over interviews and she really is an incredible orator. She answers everything well whether it’s a harmless question or something about Manon. It’s a tough spot to be in, but I’m hoping the four don’t get as much hate as they did last Fallon thing and don’t get their words twisted around.

Arguably their best outfit set, although it wouldn’t have fit any other era besides SIS

I just love the look. The white and blue go great together, and I always loved this sweatsuit kind of look. That being said though this does not fit Beautiful Chaos or Wild era vibes at all, so I’m glad it was done in the past. But it’s still something I notice and love every time I rewatch the Debut MVs, and probably a top three look of theirs in my eyes

260806 just an edit of mine I wanted to share. Their journey is truly unbelievable

Tis all :) enjoy Eyekons lmao

Idk what temperature take: This was one of the best recent costume sets

I don’t know I really like their look. Megan, Dani and Yoonchae’s are my favorite. Sophia is solid, and imo Lara got the short stick but it still fits and is no where near as crazy as some other worst of sets are

Why do so much people hate the originals songs in the finale 😫 they were so good

Really the only one that I see people still talking about that they kind of enjoyed is Dirty Water, but honestly they all get so underrated I don’t get it.
I personally loved Girls Don’t Like, it was a bop and instant add on my playlist when I heard it for the first time, and same for Dirty Water.
Now the MOST underrated song from the finale imo is definitely All The Same. I get it’s a slow song with more meaning and impact than beats and stuff, but it was such a wholesome song to end off something so emotional and bittersweet like Dream Academy. Mentioning that everyone is the same, and has the same flaws and everything made it such a perfect song for the ten final contestants to end off with. I really don’t understand the dislike toward all three songs from here, they ALL were amazing imo
Anyone agree with me or is just me 🫣
