McCulloch Electramac EM250 reassemble not going well

McCulloch Electramac EM250 reassemble not going well

I took apart my working chainsaw to replace leaky oil lines and am having trouble getting it back together. I tried to test it while it open and got a grinding noise and some smoke (yikes). wondering a couple of things...if there is more to starting it when the brake is out and how to get the brake back together (picture included). I'm figuring the plastic handle with a slot and a roller meshes with the steel plate that is attached to the spring and to the gear by steel cable but can't get the lever and the plate to assemble. Any help appreciated...could really use it. thanks

Total newbie will peacock strea on chromeos-flex

I think I just spent 2 days messing with drives and installing chromeos-flex for naught as Gemini told me it would stream peacock then it told me it would not. I figured after awhile there wouldn't be so much discussion around this if it were that easy (but hard for me). Is there a way? Thank you for any insight. I also spent a few days installing cinnamon. :)

Will MD Anderson give a better result for post treatment ORN with possible fracture in the future

Not sure this can be answered in such a specific situation. Hardware is infected and removal will possibly cause a fracture affecting ability to eat. There is no specific plan for this possibility. Anyone been through this at MDAnderson or something similar? Going there would be a stretch for me but considering it if I'd get a better result.

proper anchor bolt for 2x4 to stucco

Going to hinge a small gate to the 2x4. Thanks

Edit: I found a stud from the inside. drilled into the outside stucco and felt wood. Using a level tried three other locations further down but hit metal each time. Outlets are low near the floor and I see romex running along the top sill inside. Why would there be netal plates along the stud if not for wiring? Feels more than wire netting.

inputting text into browser crashes all open tabs

I have the last version of win10 and the latest ddg browser. I cannot enter any text without the browser crashing. I read somewhere that there are different versions of text input but have never found more information. This happens only on one laptop that is running an older SATA hard drive. Any ideas appreciated.

Kitchenaid KGRT607HBT9 two burners no longer click when turned on

Is there a DIY way to diagnose (igniter vs something before the igniter)? I've cleaned the igniters/caps. Both have gas flow. I can get each to light if a working igniter is clicking. Thanks for any help

Questions:

  1. tried to remove the seats and the wrench I have bottomed out before I could get a purchase. It's not the stepped wrench but just a simple taper. Do Pfister seats only work with the stepped wrench?

  2. New seals on the valves, new diverter valve. When the shower is running there isw ater leaking from the tub spout.

  3. Is grinding the seats an option?

Any help is appreciated. Can't afford the single valve conversion at the moment.

Family member's car will occasionally only click when key is turned and then on second attempt will start.

I checked the battery while engine was off (just under 12 volts) then when running (14.25 volts). Checked with a Black and Decker bbcs10b (smart charger alternator test setting) and alternator tested good.

Then with engine off again battery was 12.19 volts.

Could there be a bad connection or something else or can I recommend just replacing the battery. The battery came with the car when purchased 3 years ago. I cannot find a date on the battery.

edit: solenoid clicks once on failed attempts
