Most common spell

so I've read the books and seen the films. when they depict most high level duels it's a stream of energy. is this to disarm, since disarming transfers ownership to the victor?

or are the evil ones basically casting death, but there's a defensive spell to counter?

[request] what is the optimal deck shuffle to allow a uniformly random hand?

I recently started playing Pokémon again after growing up with it and each deck has sixty cards. I know each card has a 1/60 chance of being drawn, but is there a shuffle to truly randomize the draw?

Assume I can cut the deck while I shuffle, and my opponent also cuts the deck.

How much meat would our pets eat

I am playing a 5e based homebrew and we have acquired an adult owlbear, gryphon, and wyvern.

How much meat would they eat in a day?

EDIT: not sure why my post is downvoted, it's a simple question that I asked and has been answered.

My dad gave me a childhood card back

I played pokemon as a teenager but quit in high school. About three months ago my brother and I decided to start playing again, and our dad offhandedly mentioned I had given him a card to hold on to.

I had no idea what to expect, but every so often he'd mention it. I finally picked it up and it was a 1st edition Venusaur. It had been in a sleeve, in a fire proof safe for the past thirty years lol

My dad said, "When you gave this to me you said it'd be worth something."

It wouldn't grade above a 7 with PSA, but it was a neat thing that happened to me. I'm not a fan of Venusaur, so it belongs with someone who wants it.
