Skunk visiting my property.

I have regularly sat outside at night...into the depths of the night, for the past three years. This summer I've had a skunk visitor. At first, I thought maybe a mama had babies somewhere on my very very small, city property. So, I posted for help, and was told to ignore as they would move on. I did. I only occasionally saw the skunk...it usually comes in under my gate, then under my car, and the scurries off in a way that I don't know if it's heading under my porch, into my shed, or into the neighbor's yard. I've seen it come in and then go back out maybe an hour later, two or three times.

Tonight, it's been 2 months since the first sighting. I thought it moved on since It's been about a month since I had my last sighting. I saw the skunk coming out from under my car car, I ignored it, but it seemingly took note of me, stood in a defensive stance, with tail raised. I really thought I was about to get sprayed, but then it ran off.

Do skunks have more than one litter a summer? I don't know if that is why the skunk is here, but people said on my original post that it probably had babies.

I need to move (not because of the skunk...because of a job). I don't know if this skunk is just running through my yard or hiding babies somewhere...under my deck or in my shed. I do need to get into my shed and don't want to be surprised if they're there!!!

Any tips/thoughts???

I really just want honest feedback.

I bought my Liberty (2012) with 10 miles on it. It's been a lemon since day one, but I wasn't in a situation where I could return it. I made it work, but now I need it gone. I posted it, with all It's flaws, on FB Marketplace for $500 since I saw working ones being posted for $1200...I got about 30 immediate replies, so I think I priced it too low. I want an opinion on how much I should price it for. I do need it gone, but I wouldn't mind waiting until October as I need to move, but having it in my driveway makes it look like I'm still living in the place I need to move out of. Here's a list of the "flaws"

Since about day 12 of owning it, the check engine light has come on. I know, I should have returned it, but I was not in any situation where I could. Every best guess is there's a pinhole somewhere in the gasline. I'm not a mechanic, so I don't know. I have replaced the gas cap twice. The gas line was also replaced, but this is still happening.

The Jeep is currently dead. I think a new battery would make it turn on, but the thread on one of the battery's bolt / nut is stripped. I'm tired of trying to get it off.

When it has a working battery, it sometimes doesn't want to start. I've replaced the starter, twice. You can turn the starter, have no response, like the battery is dead, but radio and lights work. Then if you keep trying, the engine catches, and then it works. It will go months, or years with no issues, but then this same issue happens, will last for a week or two, then go back to "normal."

I have to move out of state and just don't have the time to deal with it. I need to either sell or donate the car.

3 out of the 4 doors have been replaced.

I've 2 un-reported accidents. They were cosmetic. One senior citizen clipped my car while they were parking and USAA (their insurance) were a PITA to deal with. One unlicensed, uninsured driver rear-ended me when I was at a stoplight. I didn't want to pay my deductible to never see it again.

The driver's side window is off the track.

The driver's side passenger door's lock needs to be replaced...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

The car has less than 80K miles.

My car got "keyed" by some some psycho guy threatening my toddler at Ikea (just in a straight line), but some of that was remedied by the replaced doors! Look on the brightside of things!

I have had to replace the driver's side brake lights multiple times while I've never had to replace the passenger side brake lights.

How do you get the money from playing KPs health game?

Basically my question is in the title. I played one of these games before, but received a card that had the cash on it.

Help needed.

My house was built in 1900. The insulation is terrible. I don't know anything about the electricity other than two portable air conditiner units will short it out if they're plugged into outlets on opposite sides of the house. Should I get an electrician in, or get someone to blow insulation? Any thoughts on the cost of either? My house is maybe around 1000 square ft.

Question

Should my home inspector have caught that my bathroom sink had a major flaw? The drain pipe protudes from the sink, and the drain stopper could never work because of this. You don't see this unless you unscrew the "stopper" and ring that goes around it. I had to do that due to a clogged sink. I never tried to fill the sink, or I would have noticed sooner.

Best way to fix this?

The rubber bit in the connector came out. I can get it back in, but the connection doesn't seal. I've basically just stopped using the sink at this point (I'm not a big garbage disposal fan so I wasn't using it anyway), but I do have a bowl under it in case water / soap suds still leak out. But, I want to temporarily rent out my house so I do need this fixed soon. Unfortunately, there prior owner jerryrigged the plumbing in a lot of places, it seems, and the home inspector didn't catch any of it...I would really appreciate any advice for this issue.

Can you identify this weed?

How do I get rid of it? It's popping up in multiple places. Tge tallest is about 3.5 feet high.

How do I fix this?

I guess the home inspector missed this. The top of the drain is popping out of the sink. There's no way to use the pop up stopper effectively. I'd like to replace the faucets, drain and "bendy" pipe. Any help, thoughts?

Fair market value

I'm moving across country and am basically going to donate everything that I don't use, which will be basically everything. I can get FMV for items listed on the Goodwill site. My question is about items not listed there. How do I determine the FMV, without getting "flagged"? Literally, I'll take minimal clothes, my personal electronics, some kitchen items, some sentimental items, but that's it. I don't have time or energy to do a yard sale. And, yes, I itemize. Should I take pictures of what I'm donating, or create an itemized list and dollar amount assigned plus reason why? Any help would be appreciated.

Housing question

This is my second post, again mad respect for current or former IRS workers as my deceased mom was one. I have to move across the country. I'm currently keeping my house as "primary residence" for the remainder of the year as it will have been this year. Next year, if I'm renting an apartment in a different state, but still have my mortgage in my current state, what state do I claim residency in? My minor child, who is a dependent, will be going to school in our current state and will live in the house during school breaks, but I might also try to either rent out the house, or rent out a room. I have to do upgrades before I can do either. Any guidance?

Donation Question...

First...my mom was an IRS employee, so mad respect. She's deceased so I can't ask her. I'm moving states and want to donate items instead of trying to organize a yard sale, but I've read about the $500 cap on donated items. Is this real, is this per item? I don't have any one item worth over $500, but in aggregate, I think the whole lot would be over $500...I'm donating gaming systems, furniture, sporting goods. Is there anyone who could give me guidance? I have to take a hardship withdrawal to pay for my kid's college and I know that will increase my income, so I am looking to reduce my income by donating (yes, I itemize). Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Skunk visiting downtown yard?

I'm not "technically" downtown, but close enough to walk to the 16th St Mall in under an hour. I just got visited by a skunk. My yard is enclosed by buildings, fences, a gate, and has only one entry (for people). Judging from the direction it came from, it either came under or over the gate. It came trotting out from under my car, spent 5-10 minutes "somewhere," and then went trotting back out the way it came. It went around the corner, and I'm thinking it "might" have been under my back deck, which may be animal accessible, but is also the main entrance to the house. I am out on my porch / stoop most nights (old building w/o central air) and have never seen a skunk here before. I'm wondering if anyone else have had this in the area? I'd rather not have a skunk coming into my yard in case it gets scared and sprays. Thoughts, advice?

Do I need a bigger harness?

US / not a minor/ Vet accessible / cat age 2 / male & nuetered / can afford vet care. I'm moving across country. Pumpkin will be coming by either car or plane. I'm not sure yet, but I want to know if I need a bigger harness. I have the largest size sold at Pet Smart, but I'm worried about his fur getting stuck in the Velcro, the neck size, and the under arm size. He's a bigger cat and super fluffy (so it's hard to see where the Velcro and plastic clasps are gripping). I think I want to get him a lion cut for transport, just so I can see the harness connections more easily. Any advice? Here's pictures I just took with the harness on. He wasn't "happy" with it being put on, but he didn't fight it either. He just chilled, the I took it off and gave him some pureed food.

TLDR: is this harness too small?

Has anyone donated a car to CO public radio?

I just wanted to see how the process went. My car is currently "dead" but can be revived with a jump, but if not...it's in a small space. Are the people towing amenable to putting in neutral and pushing/steering out? I don't want to buy a new battery, but will do; however the bolt is "stripped" at this point, so changing the battery is tricky. Any thoughts? I need the car gone by July at latest.

Baby to now. The sweetest Orange!

Pumpkin (formerly known as Caramel - pre-adoption) re-set after his time chilling in the litter box. He is now a regal lion!!! I do know the 2nd and 3rd photos are out of order, but couldn't change them.

United States What should I do? Us / Denver

Grandparents Captain chair. This was a wedding present during the 1930's. The armrest cushions were changed during the 1990's. The twin was taken by a family member who gutted all the original embroidered cushions. The original skeleton needs work.
