3 under 3?

Has anyone continued to follow this type of parenting with 3 under 3? We always envisioned waiting until my toddler was 3 to have a second, but it took less time than we thought the second time, and we got twins. They will be born when my son is 2 y 9 m.

Alima Pure Dupes?

Does anyone know of any dupes out there for Alima Pure Olive Mineral foundation 0, 1, or 1.5? In the dead of winter, I’m like an Olive 0/1 and in Summer I’m 1.5.

It seems like the site is no longer taking orders. I had to switch to all fungal acne safe products a year ago and my choices for foundation are limited. Mineral foundation works and maybe a couple of other brands out there. If you used Alima Pure Olive mineral foundations, what did you switch to (brand and shade)?

TSS Sculpt Mama vs Soto Method?

So I’m 21 weeks pregnant with twins and have been doing TSS Sculpt Mama the whole time. The reasons I like it are…

  1. I love the pelvic floor work! I go to a pelvic floor therapist now and Megan Roup’s videos are spot on in engaging your pelvic floor properly, especially those deep core muscles. I enjoy both the pelvic floor videos and the core work throughout.
  2. They are realistic in difficulty week by week. My last pregnancy I went to barre classes and could not continue after 24 weeks due to how quick they were. These videos are more realistic for me to stay active throughout pregnancy.
  3. They are short enough to do consistently if you already have a toddler at home. I love there is variety in 8, 15, 20, or 30 minute videos this week.

I keep reading about Soto Method and curious how it compares to TSS Sculpt Mama based on the 3 things above?

Family Leave In NJ for twins?

Hello- anyone have twins in the state of NJ? I have a singleton already but now I’m trying to understand NJ family leave for twins.

From my understanding I can take-
8 weeks before due date
8 weeks after due date for recovery of c section
12 weeks for bonding leave

My question is regarding FMLA and NJFLA. Since those are 12 weeks each of job protection, and I would be taking 28 weeks, would 4 of those weeks be technically “unprotected”? Trying to see what other NJ twin moms did.

Toddler moms, are we going out with our toddlers?

I’m 18 weeks pregnant with twins so probably measuring closer to 25 weeks. I primarily work but have my 2.5 yo toddler on my own a couple of half days a week.

Before I was pregnant, we did fun outings all the time like going to a farm, playground, play gyms, etc. But now I’m just so exhausted all the time and I feel guilty for it. My back pain creeps up when I walk or stand too long. My toddler also hates the stroller. He’s pretty good most of the time but when he tantrums it absolutely kills me trying to get him out of somewhere.

Anyway, where are the other pregnant toddler moms going with their kids?

Book about introducing new siblings?

Hi all-I’m having twins this fall. My 2.5 year old son responds really well to Montessori principles.

Looking for a book/resource I can read about introducing newborn siblings that aligns with Montessori principles.

Toddler starting Montessori school before twins come?

Our twins will come in October (real due date first half of November).

Our 2.5 yo toddler is starting 2 half days (6 hours total per week) in a Montessori school early September.

Are we crazy for this? We have a nanny the other days. I just feel like he is so ready for it. He was extremely excited during our tour of the school. He loved the teachers and seeing the students. Our nanny takes him to the library everyday anyway, where there sometimes up to 20 kids, so he is not a stranger to various bugs. I also want to ease him in so that we can increase him when I possibly go back to work, and then 9-3 the following year.

Despite that, I have a sense of guilt that he could bring bugs home, especially if the twins are premies.

What have other parents done?
