Title: 22M with scoliosis — Any advice for managing back pain?

I’m a 22-year-old male with S-shaped scoliosis, around 32 degrees. I’ve been consistently working out at the gym for almost a year now. I’ve built some decent back muscles, and my overall back strength and stability feel pretty good ( see the pics) . However, I still get occasional mild back pain. It’s mostly a pulling sensation that comes and goes in the area where the bend is . Nothing severe, but it’s been getting slightly worse lately. I’m wondering if anyone here has dealt with something similar. Are there specific exercises, stretches, or routines that have helped you reduce or eliminate this type of pain? I’d especially appreciate tips from people who lift while managing scoliosis. Thanks in advance.

Overthinking the flaws

22M here and I need some advice on what to do with my pickiness and noticing flaws in my partner. So I had a girlfriend that I broke up with due to me not being attracted to her body at all and I’m not quite sure if something what is called RCOD ruined my relationship or actually physical incompatibility but we did have a deep emotional connection and built lots of memories that I still miss but as I figured I can’t go over myself and text her to get back together as I can’t imagine being with a woman with that type of body . So not long time ago I met this new girl that I really liked at first especially her body and our vibes that we had but when I started texting and talking to her I started overthinking her face and some other physical flaws and I don’t know what to do about it as I really want to be in a relationship but don’t want to always doubt if I like her enough and other stuff. In top of that I’m still thinking weather I should get back with my ex if she is still single.

TLDR Basically I need an advice on how to handle overthinking about physical imperfections in your partner and build a solid relationship instead. And what to do when you started getting to know a new person but still think of your ex and grieve the past.

Successful varicocele treatment

22M here and this is my story how I was struggling mentally with varicocele and how it got resolved.
So I will try to keep it short. I know that not much people actually come back to Reddit to share procedure results and I was also feeling lazy to make one but still decided to do it to bring some hope for those who struggle with it.
I actually made posts in this sub already before my procedure and for context I had a left sided varicocele grade 3 and it impacted my testicle size and it felt soft, these are my numbers before surgery: T-levels: 647 LH: 13.4 FSH: 15.5 ( my T-levels were good because LH was too high and it would force testicles to work harder for T production) Semen analysis was very bad my sperm concentration was 0.7 mil back in 2023 and 2 mil in 2025 with around 30% motility, ultra sound showed 13 mL right and 10.47 left testicles by Lamberts formula . So I decided to do something about and I had some hard time choosing the way of treatment but decided to go with embolization. The procedure was not bad at all didn’t even feel any pain during the procedure and doctor said that he was satisfied with the way how he blocked the vain he used specially foam and coils to block the entire ISV. Next day the area got pretty swollen and the veins felt really hard and tick like ropes but it’s fine I also had some pain in the groin and stomach area during first weak after the treatment but later on it went away and the veins started to shrink and get better, I noticed right away that I started having more morning woods like basically every morning and just random erections during the day. So right now it’s been 4 month since the procedure and the results are following: T-level 547 LH: 12.2 FSH 10.2 ( LH is still high but a little better and FSH dropped to normal range ). Semen analysis showed concentration 7.7 mil with 59% motility , I know that 7.7 mil it’s still lower than normal range but it’s much better and it’s only been 4 month so over time it should go up hopefully. Ultrasound showed increased testicle volume and volumes are 14.53 mL right and 14.08 mL left testicles so basically the left ball got bigger by 4 mL which is surprising and it does feel very firm and bigger then it was. The veins are barely palpable but what I noticed is that if I try to press on the area where the coils were placed i do feel the vain and I think I can feel the coils but it’s only when u try to poke it hard in that area but overall I don’t even feel anything even while working out at the gym or doing any activity.

So I think it’s a win in my case and if you have any questions feel free to comment or dm me.

ROCD break up and moving on

M22 need an advice from someone who moved on in relationship after a break up that was probably caused due to ROCD. For context I have never been diagnosed with OCD but I have noticed my obsession to things being perfect in terms of Job or choosing smth.

So my story is that I had a girlfriend that I broke up with 6 month ago due to my constant doubts and anxiety related to her body, according to chatGPT and other sources I most likely had ROCD cycles which made me believe that if I have doubts about her body and unsure if I’m attracted to it that something is wrong with a relationship and I had way too much anxiety because that relationship mattered to me a lot and our connection was great even despite her body being not my type but I still couldn’t handle my ROCD and I broke up saying that I don’t have feelings and can’t continue our relationship. Now that I look back I understand that I could probably stay in it I just had to work on my ROCD thing. A month ago I met thing girl that checked most of my boxes in terms of beauty and personality and we slowly started texting and snapping, but I often compare her to my ex and feels like I’m still attached to my ex even tho it’s in the past, and because of that I feel like I can’t commit to this new girl fully just yet plus on top of that I already have some ROCD stuff even with her but now it’s about her face and not body but it seems like I manage it much better and learned not react to triggers and stop checking which seems to work but I’m still deep down hurt by what happened with my ex and kinda can’t believe that I will build the future with this new girl and not my ex because I’m still attached to our memories that we made, I’m thinking that may be if I commit to the girl that I’m texting to rn and develop relationships and go for couple of dates may be I will attach to her and forget what happened with my ex and let past go idk I’m confused as I don’t wanna hurt this girl that I just met but also she seems like a good person that I can build relationship with.

Any experience or advice is really appreciated

Need an advice to choose a career path

Hey everyone, Im 22 years old and I’m an immigrant who came to US 3.5 years ago at the age of 18 and started working in manufacturing as an assembler then was promoted to testing department, I worked there for about 3 years and was layed off in March, as they say they will call us back in August but I’m not sure if I should go back or switch my career and try getting an electrician license by the age of 27-28 , also I applied for Engineering degree in college but it will take 4 years and provide you no income so when I graduate I will be 26 with student loans . So my question is how do I get this figured out so that I could be set career wise in my late 20nees and have decent savings ?
