I credit those 3 things to the full recovery. I didn’t implement them until month 11 & by 13month full recovered. Month 3 was recommended surgery btw.

Trial starts for BPD officer who intentionally rammed civilians

Will be interesting to see how the many FOP/BPD accounts that operate on this forum spin this one

Residents of East/West Baltimore know this and other misconduct from BPD are historically common

23’Y battery replaced in’26

Is it normal for a ‘23’ Y to run into the unable to charge battery error? Original battery got about 264 at 80% in 2023. Dropped down to about 207

Battery replaced. Normal charging is at superchargers & run in low power mode

Baltimore proposed bill:260174 on data centers and the locations

hillarygonzalezpoetry This is why l've said from the beginning, the one-year moratorium we have in place is entirely performative. They're not trying to protect us.
They're trying to figure out how to allow data centers anyway.
The hearing is scheduled for Aug 27th at 1pm.
Email templates & action items are in my bio. Your written testimony is due by Aug 24th at 4pm
Industrial zoning does not mean industrial sacrifice. Let's show city leaders how much community means to us.
They can't break our neighborhoods, and they can't take
our resources.
Action items & a detailed breakdown of the bill are in my bio

Locals offer help to Venice Italy blue crab invasions

The Venetian lagoon faces an ecological and economic crisis due to an invasion of the Atlantic blue crab(Callinectes sapidus). These aggressive predators lack local natural predators and have decimated native fisheries, particularly destroying local clams, mussels, and fragile soft-shell moeche crabs. [1, 2, 3]

Impact on the Ecosystem
Devour vast quantities of native shellfish and commercial clam stocks.

Shred heavy fishing nets with powerful claws.

Threaten local biodiversity and traditional fishing livelihoods in the Veneto region. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Culinary and Market Challenges
Despite high market value in regions like the U.S. and Asia, local demand in Venice remains low. [1]

The crabs sell so cheaply at local fish markets that fishermen find them unprofitable to catch. [1]

Traditional and tourist restaurant menus in Venice largely exclude the blue crab, viewing it as an unwelcome intruder rather than a culinary asset. [1]

Some initiatives and sustainable supply chains (such as BluEat) attempt to process the crab into sauces, spreads, or export the meat, though widespread cultural integration remains slow. [1, 2, 3]
