I hope I’m wrong about Matthew Fuller

But I don’t understand the hype. Is there a reason everyone is so excited about him to be some stud RB1?

He ran for 260 yards on 72 carries last year (3.6 YPC). That drops to 188 yards on 71 carries (2.6 YPC) if not for a gap assignment bust by an LSU linebacker.

Can someone please explain to me what I’m missing?

High water level from behind washing machine - is this an issue?

We had water leaking from under our washing machine.

The appliance repair company claims the issue was the drain pump overflowing and said we need a chemical flush through the line. I didn’t notice any water behind the machine on either the wall or baseboards.

The plumbers said the plumbing is fine and chemicals shouldn’t be used but we could snake the line if we want peace of mind.

One of them is wrong. Any insight is appreciated.

Washer leaking underneath because of drain line?

Our washer was leaking underneath yesterday.

The appliance repairman claims it is due to an issue with the drain line and recommended getting a plumber to clean/fix it. The issue is I wasn’t home when it happened, and there is no evidence of water overflowing from the drain behind the washer. That said, there’s also nothing evident under the machine that would be an issue.

Am I being scammed?

Washing machine repair recommendations

Our top load washer is leaking from the bottom. Any recommendations on reputable local repairmen?

Preferably not Morris Jenkins as I’d like to not spend the GDP of North Carolina.

Applied to the same job twice

I applied to an open role via a direct listing from the hiring company.

Some time later, I applied to a role through a recruiter via an agency. It turns out they are the same role and I had forgotten about my direct application.

Now, the internal recruiter from the company has reached out directly. I’m sure that if they want to move forward, they’d like to move forward that way to save money on a placement fee. I’ve not yet heard anything back from the external recruiter since they submitted me.

How should I handle this? Should I tell the recruiter, the hiring company, both, or neither?

Water main in shutoff in garage is leaking - how urgent is this?

Came back from dinner and noticed this. I have an 8am plumber appointment booked for tomorrow and I’ve put a bucket and towels underneath.

Is this worth having the city come shut off our water at the street or can I let this go for 11 more hours?

A review of Victor “ethical hoops” Wembanyama’s postseason

- Elbowed Naz Reid in the throat, was very fortunate Reid wasn’t seriously injured

- Skipped media availability after losing Game 5 vs. OKC

- Ordered Mason Plumlee and Bismack Biyombo to commit dirty fouls against OKC

- Bodyslammed Jose Alvarado (who is 16 inches shorter than him), should have been a flagrant

- Shoved Jalen Brunson (who is 14 inches shorter than him) from behind, should have been a flagrant

- Reckless closeout against Josh Hart (should have been a flagrant)

- Elbowed KAT in the face (surprisingly was correctly called a flagrant)

- Tried to destroy OG Anunoby’s knee with a super smash brothers move

- Reckless closeout against Jalen Brunson, should have been a flagrant

- Taunted the Knicks in Game 4, proceeded to blow a 29 point lead (worst in Finals history)

- Guaranteed a 3-1 comeback, proceeded to score 3 points in the 4th quarter of Game 5

Whole house surge protector - worth $1.1k?

Yesterday I heard a loud popping noise that sounded like it was coming from behind the wall in my kitchen. Immediately afterwards, the power flickered off and then cut back on. I checked the breaker box but the switch wasn’t tripped. This has now happened a couple of times in the last few months.

I had an electrician out who recommended a whole house surge protector and quoted me $1,100 for the parts + install. He claimed that the influx of new construction in the immediate area outside my neighborhood may be causing this issue.

He also said the whole house surge protectors are now standard code as of the last few years (my house was built on 2007).

How seriously should I be taking this and is this a reasonable price for this work?

SoFi HYSA $400 bonus

Does the first direct deposit count towards the $5k total needed to get the $400 bonus? Or does it have to be $5k, not including whatever the first deposit is?

Going from Pleasant Road area to Southpark and it feels like the last few weeks had just been awful, but the worst of it is always on the SC side of Carowinds.
