Kumamoto sealed long term

Curious about everyone’s thoughts on the Kumamoto don!! set. My thoughts are that it will stay below $500 for quite some time, but I’m curious what others think. I heard a reprint was coming too, but I’m not sure if that would affect pre-eretta since we wouldn’t know if there would be changes. Thanks!

EB02 Gold Leaders to buy?

With the sentiment being that gold leaders are going to be most "rare" leaders and grails to collect, I was curious what people were buying. Obviously gooner cards are gonna go for more, then you have the main Straw Hats, but im curious about some plays on other leaders that aren't a big focus, like the Foxy and Belo betty's of the list... lmk your thoughts! Thinking about getting some bigger one's for my long term holds after the sell off!

First Friday's

I am visiting boulder for the weekend and wanted to know what first Friday is like in Boulder. My fiancé and I planned to do a 4th of July celebration there for a fireworks display before I found out they were banned in the city for fire reasons (totally fine with me, just need to make some new plans).

We are from KC and wanted to watch the current game as well, if anyone has suggestions for watching that game in a cool bar that loves women's soccer! Thanks in advance, open to any and all suggestions!

Golf Luffy OP11 PSA 9 long term value

What do we think the long-term value of the gold Luffy would be in a 9? I saw one with some whitening on the top and thought about buying if it's a good hold, even though it's not perfect... was wondering what people thought about it.

Buying singles or slabs

What singles are people buying right now? Any particular set you are looking at/interested in? I am kinda on the side of buying cool art, popular characters, or rare-ish cards. I haven't been buying many slabs because I feel like it's worth more to buy singles and then grade for the $80 if the slabs are over $500 in value, but I am curious to see what everyone is buying right now regardless. Thanks!

My golden places page

Been working on this one for a while and finally got my last card (collapsed stadium) at a card show last weekend. I had it in Japanese originally but it didn’t really fit the theme so I was able to find it in English. Some are pulls but most I’ve just bought when I saw something cool! Let me know what you think

Water page needs work

This is my water page but it’s in need of some work. I like the idea of the water energy being the main focus but the surrounding cards don’t really give it justice I feel like. Any suggestions help!

EB03- SPs thoughts? In particular Vivi

I feel as if these cards will be become grails. I don't particularly think that Tashigi or Koala will hit above $500 raw but I could definitely see some of the other girls becoming really popular. They grade well too and the graded prices are skyrocketing

New installment to the set up

The blue shell has been replaced… Maple is our new girl and we love her so much. She reminds me of maple treeway from MK wii! I’m in an insanely tough lobby right now with tons of 9k players and it’s humbling me so hard xD

Tony Tony Chopper EB01-006 (alt art) PSA 10 worth $450 now

Got this bad boy in a trade for my divine departure PSA 10, which was worth around $220 then... now this Chopper is over $400 and the Divine Departure has dropped significantly. I figured the event cards weren't worthwhile when I could have an older alt art straw hat, seemed like a no brainer to me. The real question is, do I wait this one out and hold or sell for $450-500 while OP is hot?

What do we think of wedding Nami? (OP15-086)

I am kinda all in on the wedding Nami going to the moon as of lately. I feel like these Nami cards are so sought after, even after only a few months. I have a few grading right now and I am hopeful for 10s based on centering and no whitening. What are yall's thoughts on this card?

OP16 UY Boa support is very solid

This is the new deck I have been playtesting against the meta and it does fairly well. I will say the Nami matchup is still just as hard as it was, but I have run into more plays that seem like it's a more manageable win than before because of the BB trigger play. The Kuma is still strong but having 4 Zoro's just takes the cake with 8 don turns. I like you'll frighten me a lot still and I have the SPs so I run those for my main local's deck, but I think you could swap it for something else if needed. The new blockers just make it that much easier to make them take a life and there's enough life adding with Borsalino, Zoro, Boa, and Kuma to make it fair against heavy hitters. Even against Yamato's un-blockable cards this deck does well when maintaining life. Anyone else got some funky tech for UY Boa they have been using?

I went 2/4 at locals with UY Boa

Just went to my second locals and was able to come away with 2 wins. I played a Red Luffy player who was decent but my triggers were solid and I played fairly well to get that win. Then I went into a Boa mirror and lost to that one because of a double perfume femur. Didn’t expect that because they had gotten rid of one of them earlier in the game. Third match was against a Y Enel and that one got me good at the end to some bad trigger luck, but the loss didn’t feel as bad cause even the guy said he got really lucky twice during the game. Last match was a beginner playing P doffy and I was able to win that pretty easily.

Man do I forget the leader effects and play effects all the time. Constantly people reminding me that I draw when I play characters or even just drawing on my new turn I’ll forget. Does anyone have advice for getting better without having to go to locals but getting real life experience? I just feel like I know the sim well but it does everything for me so I don’t think about the stuff that way.

Overall, locals was a lot of fun and longer than I expected but it was fun to play UY Boa because people aren’t all running P Enel.

Brook support

What support would Brook need to be even better? I feel like everything is pretty balanced and the play making is solid for the character. Maybe a more powerful blocker could be solid, I just don't even know what goes into making a deck... people are so creative with techs, i kinda just follow suit and hope thing stick.

Ranked humbled me so hard

I didn't really even know ranked was a thing until yesterday and I've played probably 20 matches and only won one of them, and it was gold-bell Luffy which is definitely my easiest matchup at Brook. I have been playing Brook on the SIM for quite a while now and I am realizing that the difference between ranked and normal play is huge. While I'd say I win like 50% of matches with Brook on the sim, the ranked matches def humbled me in the sense that everyone plays like they know my exact next move. Every match up I have hand a bad starting hand or bad luck with what they get but at the same time I feel like when I am playing really well in normal play it isn't because of luck but more so skill. Maybe I just need more experience but after a few months of playing I expected to be a bit better than how I am playing in ranked. Kinda bummed that I suck this much but it is a game after all XD

Succession Arc TLDR

Could someone explain to me the succession arc in as little as detail as possible? What is Kurapika's goal? Are the Troupe close to Hisoka yet? What importance do each of the family members have, if any at all? What's the plan for after they get to the "dark continent"? Thanks!
