Why DO objects just DISAPPEAR?

Its always the important objects like remotes. My ps5 controller woudnt be anywhere else in the house I haven't been home for a week. And ive torn apart my entire room? Im starting to believe toy story

Was gonna make leaning tower of pisa but I feel like making it lean will just make it look stupid. I still have allot more to go before it will start to come together I just can't tell if I should take the time.(survival world not creative)
