1. Make the virus a corrupting influence in a "die the hero or see yourself become the villain" kind of way by having Heller be the villain in 3, most likely causing the trilogy to end with the final protagonist of the trilogy dying with or after the virus to prevent following in Mercer and Heller's footsteps.

2. The Mercer we fight in 2 is a viral doppleganger. Basically, Mercer wanting to stop the virus and the virus wanting to propagate caused Mercer's body to undergo rapid mitosis and split into 2 separate identical yet ideologically and morally opposed entities. The real Mercer is locked up in the Dead Zone (evil twin sucker punched him before he could process the split) and Prototype 3 starts with a rescue mission.

3. Soft reboot the series and pretend it didn't happen. Maybe it was a dream sequence or an alternate timeline or some other BS, maybe Prototype 2 just isn't canon anymore. Either way, the series carries on from Prototype 1 as if Mercer never went full psycho.

4. There's nothing to fix. It's a natural progression of Alex's character and everyone should move on. I mean, he was always kind of a dick anyway, right?

Basically, trying to read the franchise wiki didn't clear much up for me and I've heard stuff like the first game not fitting with the series and other games being worthlessly redundant. Then there's all the spinoffs and expansions and such.

The PS1 and PS2 games are all I currently have access to, but they look interesting and there seems to be a great deal of hype, so any advice where to start and how I should approach the series would be greatly appreciated.

Long story short, I 100% completed the game a while back and started Up Your Arsenal with it, but have since lost a bunch of my data (including both save files).

UYA isn't a huge loss. I wasn't far in and I was going to restart it anyway, but I really don't want to grind my way through Going Commando again just to get stuff I already earned once.

I've looked up sites like GameFAQs for save files, but none are in a format that I can import to NetherSX2, so I either need it in a .PS2 file or I need to know the proper save data format and how to create a .PS2 file with that save data inside.

Long story short, a recent incident with a bolting cat has left me with a cracked rim (which is apparently vehicle specific and discontinued) and damaged rack and pinion.

So, I'm trying to see if anyone has a junker they're willing to willing to sell me parts from or knows of a salvage yard (self pull or staff pull is fine) or any other relatively cheap options for acquiring the parts I need.

All food instantly shifts to meet your chosen criteria upon sight/consumption, but the effect only applies to you (all food looks, tastes, and benefits/harms normally to anyone else).

DELICIOUS: If chosen, all food becomes the best example of that food you could ever eat. If a particular flavor is impossible to make appealing (you hate it with such a nauseating passion that no combination of flavors can compliment or mask it) then it'll be completely ignored by your taste buds.

If not chosen, all good flavors become bland and all bad flavors become exponentially worse.

HEALTHY: If chosen, all food that doesn't already meet recommended dietary standards will have all nutrient values shifted to be well within the recommended range or comfortably on the right side of the recommended minimum/maximum limit (a range of 5-10 means anything outside becomes 7-8, and if the recommended value is "at least" or "no more than" then anything on the wrong side will become a few units of measurement away from the line on the right side of said line). Will also account for your food intake and any specific dietary needs, so you'll always have exactly as much nutrients as necessary to give you the best chance at good general health.

If not chosen, all food that meets dietary standards will shift to just outside said standards (inside a 5-10 range becomes 4 or 11 depending on which is closer, and "at least" or "no more than" becomes one unit of measurement to to the wrong side of that line). In other words, you'll need more food to get enough good nutrients and you'll have to work harder or possibly take medication to deal with the excess bad nutrients.

VISUALLY APPEALING: All food becomes anime quality in appearance. Literally, it always looks unrealistically good no matter how it actually tastes.

If not chosen, all food looks revolting regardless of actual taste. It could look moldy/rotten or like its filled with (or just made of) something disgusting like bugs/maggots, gross/disturbing body parts, feces, discolored sludge, and/or anything that would generally make you lose your appetite.

Long story short, in running a multi follower mod and I have a sinking suspicion that only Dogmeat and my "primary" companion will be recognized in dialogue and such.

I'm not planning on running with every companion simultaneously, but I'll have a few and switching out the "primary" every now and then is a little tedious but entirely manageable.

So, please share what quests (ideally by name) you think have really good interactions with a particular companion. Anything from area reactions to dialogue interjections are welcome.

To be clear, you can still do the thing, you just don't need to anymore.

***EATING*** : You can eat as much or as little as you want and you will never suffer any symptoms of overeating or starvation, even if you never eat again. You also will not gain or lose weight unless you want to and your body will always function as if you are at your body's ideal weight.

(To avoid any 2-for-1 specials, your body now generates a consistently average amount of fecal waste regardless of how much you eat, but the solidity of your poop can still be affected by things like illness and medication)

***HYDRATION*** : You will never be thirsty again. Ever. In other words, you will always be perfectly hydrated even if you choose to eat salt and wash it down with seawater.

(To avoid any 2-for-1 specials, your body produces a consistently average amount of urine regardless of how much you drink, but the color and smell can still be affected by food/drinks/medication)

***SLEEP*** : You will always feel perfectly rested, even if you never sleep again. You can still choose to sleep, and can do so at will and for as long as you want (think of a duration and/or circumstance and you will automatically wake up when those conditions are met). You can also control your dreams, turn them off, or even make them extra random.

***DEFECATION*** : Your bowels become an infinite pocket dimension capable of storing all the poop you produce, forever. You can still choose to bomb the porcelain valley, if you feel so inclined (great for killing time at work or blowing up your enemy's toilet).

***URINATION*** : Your bladder becomes an infinite pocket dimension capable of harmlessly storing all the urine you produce, forever. You can still choose to empty the water tower at will (great for writing your memoirs in the snow).

***I LIKE LIVING ON HARD MODE (RESULTS)*** : I bet you like Souls games, don't you, you masochist.
