Cinema 4D Focus Control in Seconds

Maybe this will be useful to someone. A series of loaders I'm currently working on — including promotional videos, website configurators, and product catalogs.

Is Photorealistic CGI Worth the Investment for Industrial Equipment Companies?

B2BMarketingFor industrial equipment manufacturers in the U.S., does investing in photorealistic CGI actually help generate more leads and sales?

I'm seeing very different approaches across markets. Some companies rely almost entirely on CAD screenshots and engineering renders, while others invest heavily in photorealistic visuals, animations, and product marketing.

From your experience, what has the biggest impact on customer perception and purchasing decisions?

If you're a manufacturer, distributor, or marketing professional, I'd love to hear your perspective.

Would You Hire a Remote Specialist Who Doesn’t Speak English Fluently?

Would you hire a remote specialist who isn’t fluent in spoken English?

I’d be interested in hearing honest opinions from people who hire freelancers and contractors.

How do you feel about working with a remote specialist who is located in another country, does not have a work permit in your country, and communicates primarily in writing?

For example, someone who writes and understands English well, can handle emails, technical discussions, documentation, and project communication, but is not fluent in spoken English.

Would that be a significant drawback for you, or would you mainly evaluate the person based on their portfolio, reliability, communication skills, and results?

I’m asking because I work in industrial 3D visualization, and most of my client communication already happens through email, chat, comments, and project management tools.

I’m curious to hear how companies and hiring managers view this situation.

5 Years in Industrial Visualization — What Am I Missing in the US Market?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working in industrial product visualization for about 5 years, creating renders, animations, and marketing visuals for manufacturing companies.

When I was working in Russia, finding clients was relatively straightforward. Most of my projects came through referrals, direct outreach, and industry connections, and I always had enough work.

After trying to enter the US market, I’ve had a very different experience. For some reason, it’s been much harder to connect with potential clients and get conversations started. I’ve been using LinkedIn, email outreach, and other channels, but the response rate is extremely low.

What confuses me is that I don’t think the issue is my portfolio. I have solid experience and a portfolio that has worked well for industrial clients in the past.

So I’m wondering if I’m simply approaching the market the wrong way.

For those of you working in manufacturing, industrial marketing, engineering, or related fields:

How do companies usually find visualization specialists?
What channels actually work?
And if you were in my position, where would you focus your efforts?

I’d really appreciate any advice.

Currently working on a promotional video for a loader. A lot of work has gone into modeling the machine, the engine, and many other components. The engine is about 60% finished at this stage.
