Has anyone here had a Lumbar Disc Arthroplasty??

If so, what was your experience?

I’m agreeing to have the surgery. This is a photo of an MRI.
I figured I would ask my fellow zebras

I didn’t know they made hydrocortisone SPRAY..life has changed for the better

lol my whole life I’ve just seen the cream.

I was shopping around the other day and saw some in a spray can. I put my little travel size one in my purse and it’s so convenient and it’s not messy!

Do you space out your antihistamines?

I was telling someone at my local coffee shop/bakery about my normal Pepcid-Allegra routine. And this lady kind of jumped at me and said “you can’t take those together”

Me, perplexed, have been doing this routine for a long time replied “wait.. so you mean to tell me that my doctor is wrong?”

She goes “I mean I’m a nurse and to be frank, he must not know what he’s talking about or maybe it’s a miscommunication”

I replied “mmm… no they’re definitely safe together”

She bounces back with “safe, maybe, but not effective”

Now look, I’m not a pharmacist and I’m not a doctor, but I do have a degree in cellular biology and I’ve lived with many chronic conditions my entire life including MCAS.

I tried to explain to her that Pepcid is not a PPI so it doesn’t completely just stop stomach acid production..slows it down a bit, yes, to my knowledge my Allegra will still break down.

She kind of just brushed it off with the good ole “ whatever works for you..”

Am I wrong here? Am I missing something?
