Should I switch from Fin to Dut?

So I started Finasteride back in March after no longer seeing improvement from Spironolactone. I can’t help but feel like I messed up. I’m now thinking I should have started with Dutasteride since it’s considered more effective than fin. Should I talk to my Derm and make a switch or just give Fin a chance?
