Making , this made me realize I’ve watched like zero shows pls help (elaboration in the description)

OK for favorite show it’s a tie between breaking bad and Avatar just depends on my mood

Got stuck on syndrome into liking young Sheldon

Not a big fan of sitcoms

For the one villain, it was conquest. I fucking love conquest. i’m a sucker for characters just being evil for the love of the game.(Felt like I needed to elaborate because that show is more than one villain.)

And new franchises because for the most part, I’ve seen either the prequel or sequel/reboots to the show on my list (like the legend of Korra and you better call Saul)

Cuphead is overrated and I’m tired of the glaze

So let me say this: I do **not** have a skill issue (and I’m also not a game journalist). It took me about 10–15 attempts for most bosses, and I play plenty of other difficult games, like *Hollow Knight* and *Silksong*. I’m sorry if I get some enemy facts wrong—the last time I played was about two years ago. This is just me recollecting my experience and how I felt.
**Cheap BS**
A good portion of the attacks in the game are basically homing projectiles, which just gets tiresome. I always felt like I had to use the Smoke Bomb dash to dodge because there were constantly two or three projectiles on screen. They tried to remedy this with the parry mechanic, but you can only parry pink objects. Why? I think it would’ve been more interesting if you could parry anything, but it was harder to pull off and gave a bigger reward. Right now, all you really get is a jump boost.
And if it isn’t a homing attack, it’s usually an area-control attack that temporarily removes part of the arena. (I’m not sure what those attacks are actually called.) Those are the two types I remember the most. I’m sure there were others, but those are the ones that stuck with me. It made a lot of the bosses feel the same: dodge, dodge, dodge.
**The boss fights don’t feel like fights**
Most of the time, you’re just holding the shoot button while dodging. Even aiming isn’t much of an investment, especially if you use one of the auto-aim charms. That made many of the fights feel too similar. Even the airplane levels weren’t different enough to keep things fresh.
**The run-and-gun levels**
The run-and-gun levels take the combat and mix it with platforming. The problem is that enemies respawn. I already don’t like the combat, and I’m not great at platformers, so having enemies constantly come back just keeps forcing me into combat I already dislike.
Also, why are there no checkpoints? Even difficult platformers like *Celeste* have checkpoints. I understand not having them during boss fights, but I think the run-and-gun stages would’ve benefited from them.
**The art style gets too much praise**
Yes, I like the rubber hose art style too, but it isn’t original. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure the developers themselves said they were heavily inspired by classic rubber hose cartoons. It’s also not exactly “fresh,” since the style has existed since the 1920s. I still see rubber hose-inspired animation today, like in *The Amazing World of Gumball* and a few other modern cartoons. I don’t even watch those shows, but you can still recognize the influence.
**Beating bosses wasn’t satisfying**
I didn’t feel satisfied after beating most bosses because I knew I was just going to move on to the next frustrating boss five seconds later. Instead of feeling accomplished, I mostly felt relieved that the current one was over.

Keep getting a lot of people saying it’s a skill issue. So for those people I have this to say And are using that as a shield to defend the game from criticism. I play plenty of other hard games like I said. I’ve gotten every achievement in both hollow knight and silksong. I don’t have a skill issue. And if your counter argument to that is still skill issue, then you have. A logic issue.

Also, for those saying you play the game for the art style then
If the mane selling point of a game, is not the gameplay. then I feel like fundamentally it’s doing something wrong as a video game

What do you think of my taste?

I feel like I’m gonna piss some people off with the story one but when you summarize the plot, it’s basically

You get kidnapped by God, the fight its disciples that are corrupted by Satan. Then you have to fight two archangels that are corrupted by Satan then you fight Satan itself that objectively cool as shit and I’m a simple man.

Also genuinely don’t care for video game stories if I wanna watch a story I’ll just watch a movie or TV show. A good story is mor so just a bonus also no story will ever come close to my big 3 of stories. Avatar the last Airbender breaking bad, invincible

Also, no, I don’t think ZA’s peak but the way some of you motherfuckers were talking about it when it first released was actually insane. I will never forget that.

Also, I’m 15 I’m too young to feel nostalgia that should come naturally same can be said for the remake

And before you say, I need to play more games yes, I know I’ve been making an appointment this year to play some more games that are not Nintendo.

Just finished Splatoon Raiders here’s what I think

OK, gameplay is basically 10/10. I have no complaints with that. Peak Splatoon right there. The difficulty is flexible enough, the enemy variety is pretty good, and you’re constantly unlocking new things, keeping the game fresh. (Pun intended.) Weapon variety could be a little better, but it’s still really good. Really, my only gameplay complaint is that there’s no Sploosh.

I know I just said the gameplay was really good, but the bosses are painfully mid. Bosses are some of my favorite things in video games, and I’m sorry, they’re just mid. The seasonal Salmons are actually pretty good, though. Having them sprinkled in as mini-bosses was a pretty smart idea. Also, I was kind of disappointed with the final boss. I’m not a big fan of cinematic boss fights at all. In fact, I actually kind of hate them. But it is one of the better ones.

The story? I’m gonna be completely real. I’m one of those gamers who skips through the dialogue and then watches a lorevideo afterward, so I low-key have no clue. Although the mechanic is fucking goated from what I’ve seen in the cutscenes.

Graphics: now, I’ve not played many graphically intense games just because I really don’t care about graphics, but this is actually one of the most beautiful games I’ve ever played. And yes, most of that is because of the way the ink moves. That shit is so satisfying I could stare at it all day.

Complaints: Too short. I finished it in about 15 hours, and the super spicy stuff after you beat the game just feels like extra fluff. But I’ve actually not played the postgame at all. I literally just beat the game, so maybe it’s good. I have no idea.
Overall, I’d rate it an 8.5/10.

What’s better the mobile version or replanted?

Okay, so I’m not a big fan of scummy mobile games and all that other stuff. Unfortunately, the mobile version is one of those. I’ve played the mobile version before, but I’ve never played Replanted. I do know about all the controversy surrounding it. I know some of the issues have been fixed, but I don’t know how many of them actually were. Honestly, I don’t hear anyone talk about it anymore outside of its original release, so I have no idea what it’s like now.
Anyways, I’ve been thinking about playing it.

And before anyone says to just get the Game of the Year Edition, I only have a Switch 2 and a phone. I’m not really a fan of PC gaming. Consoles can basically do everything I want a PC to do, aside from a handful of things.

So that’s why I’m asking: is Replanted even remotely worth it now?

Feels like I’m loving Jesus, the God of heaven not loving Jesus for loving Jesus

I know I’m not worried of heaven. None of us are. I know that and I know that he lets me in if I have faith in him. now that being said it feels like I’m more so trying to be a good Christian and all that and trying to have a good faith just to get into heaven. I do have a relationship with him. Can I do to have a better relationship with him.

I feel like I should mention it I once had a vision. It was me fall from the clouds and assuming into hell and then looking up Jesus and also when I try to imagine myself at the gates of Heaven, they said it was not in the book of Lloyd and I don’t know I just feel like I should mention this. What does this mean?

I act terrible to people I like

I act terrible to people I like

I act terrible around people I like

Sorry, didn’t know what to title this.
Anyways, I was at my county summer fair this week, and I was hanging out with someone who isn’t in my main friend group. He’s actually pretty chill when he’s by himself, but then he ran into someone from his friend group and suddenly he started acting weird. It got me thinking about how I act around different people.
I definitely act a little differently around my friends than I do around my family, but not so differently that it worries me. I also don’t really act differently around most girls. Some of them have even come up to say hi or talk to me for a bit, and I’m pretty normal around them because I don’t really have feelings for them.
But when I do like somebody. I end up making way too many sex jokes. I even realize I’m doing it, but then I just keep making them anyway. I think it’s because I’m trying to be funny and charming.
I’m not trying to sound cocky, but I do think I’m already kind of funny. Maybe not charming, but funny. I’ve made the whole class laugh a few times. So I don’t really know why I start acting like this around girls I romantically like. I know for a fact it hurts my chances. I also get a lot louder than usual.
I have no idea how to improve this. Can you give me some advice?

Image unrelated tell me your Pokémon hot takes

Mine is that I actually like the yearly release schedule. And why I think having the games take longer it’s good on the long run. I will deny the part of me still missed the whole yearly schedule.

I’m so tired of LGBTQ

I know I’m probably going to sound homophobic, and I try not to be, but this has been bothering for a while. and I just want to put my thoughts into words for myself.

I’m Catholic, and naturally I want to share my religion. One thing that frustrates me is what I see as a double standard. A lot of LGBTQ people say that Christianity or Jesus is constantly being pushed in their faces. I understand where they’re coming from, but I would argue that it can feel just as excessive the other way around. I see companies constantly promoting LGBTQ causes, and I see posts about LGBTQ topics, pride, and people shipping characters. It annoys me because I find it somewhat hypocritical when people complain about religion being pushed on them while I feel like LGBTQ topics are constantly being pushed on me.

I know I’m overgeneralizing, and I don’t mean every LGBTQ person. I’m just talking about my personal experiences. I notice it throughout the year, it’s worse in June for obvious reasons.

From my religious perspective, I feel that some LGBTQ culture intentionally defies God. Even looking at it from an atheist perspective. I sometimes feel like certain things go against what nature intended. I don’t think nature intended for people to cut their dicks off a grow a vagina. I know that statement will sound homophobic to people, but that’s honestly how I feel. I also understand that some people have negative experiences with religion trauma, and I think that’s part of why some people feel the way they do.

For the record, I have had conversations with gay and lesbian people IRL. and I guess some of them as my friends. One lesbian I know even made a joke “about how Dick scare her” and I thought it was funny. But I’ve also met people who wants to go by she/her pronouns while he has a dick, which is just wrong to me. I don’t hate LGBTQ people. I hate that concept of LGBTQ, but I don’t hate the

When it comes to LGBTQ topics and children, I’m honestly not completely sure where I stand. For example, I would probably consider taking a 7 year-old to a Pride parade is inappropriate. At the same time, I don’t really have a problem with a cartoon including a same-sex couple, as long as it isn’t the main focus of the show.

Again, this is mostly me putting my thoughts into words. I’m not trying to attack anyone. I tried to be as respectful as possible while still honestly expressing what I think.
