This was in fvortxs concept art and posters for the dlc video. Ode with the line through the o is actually a Norwegian word which means desolate.

We saw this in the train station, which made me initially think it was just an Easter egg. However while this is just a poster it could represent something big. The tower at the end of the dlc clearly holds some level of importance and we find it some place in sand city. It likely leads to the surface but aside from that I have no idea. It will likely explain what sand city is, but we will have to wait and see I suppose.

The prisoner was way better for me. It actually revealed some stuff like how the spirit kids in the true ending dlc are likely connected to an animal of some kind, sand city being a whole underground civilization in a way, and that sniffer is not the only one who can travel through boomer bodies.

Not only was it way longer(1 hour for the prisoner while 20-25mins for depths) but the gameplay sections were much better imo. Granny is cool and I liked her sections, however flamethrower soldiers chase and boss fight was peak. He had good screen time and I don’t think we needed any more of him tbh. The additional mother chase was awesome aswell, and the expanded ash kids combat sections were quite fun.

The depths had better puzzles tho, but the puzzles we got for reanimal was good too in the prisoner.

I’m missing some of the petrified kids and shadows but don’t know where to find em. If anyone could help that would be lovely

Stands out by a decent bit. Idk what it would be tho if it is a monster or if it is just a piece of the environment.

The artwork on the Nintendo shop isn’t too high quality so best I could do

All on Nintendo eshop. It seems the horse will be a sort of traversal! No monster design shown which is good as it keeps the suspense. Sorry it’s a little blurry

Information that is confirmed by tarsier-

•Our protagonists will be a soldier and a prisoner. The girl is wearing a German helmet.

•The horse will be a major part of the dlc and maybe the future dlcs. We have no idea if it’s a friend or foe however there is cut content in the files of it drowning allegedly and then being shot.

•Wartown will be back and potentially could see it at different times of day based on the images shown.

•Each dlc WILL reveal new information/perspectives. Unlike ln1s depths or most of the hideaway, each DLC should supposedly help us understand the lore better.

•the horse is seemingly eating a pig which could imply the pigs are back or that the horse is an enemy.

Information confirmed by achievements-

•The dlc is called the prisoner and is likely named after the kid on the right who is a prisoner and not the monster as once speculated

• seeing as the Xbox achievements are completed it shows it is ready for release and has been ported.

• we will seemingly put down a rabbit

•we will have a new camera mechanic to take pictures of “stalking shadows” and a soldier at a photo stand in.

• we will be able to sit beside a bomb crater(potentially like the one shown in image 3) and a fire.

• posters will be back as collectibles.

• exploding suitcases will be a thing.

• we will have an axe. Combat will seemingly be similar to the main game based off this but the camera could also be a combat mechanic.

• petrified kids are back. Petrified kids are spider kids who have been turned to stone, now that doesn’t mean the active spider kids will be back but it could imply we might fight them again or see the orphanage again.

• the achievement completion percentage on Xbox has changed from 0.01 to 0.02 showing they are play testing it or something similar.

All achievement information can be found on the Xbox achievements but I didn’t want to add all the images here as that would take too much time lol.
Coin cash has a video on a lot of cut content but he speculates sniffer may return due to how finished his cut stuff was.

We will be getting a trailer and a release date the 7th and a teaser the 6th before the Nordic stream day. While not confirmed it is the only thing that makes sense due to summer being almost over. Nintendo has the date for it to release set to the 7th aswell but likely a place holder

The dlc will likely be an upwards of an hour or close to it. The sotm DLCs were 4-5 dollars each, and 15 in total. This dlc is 25 in total, and each dlc will likely be the same price as the backstage for ln3 which was about an hour. Keep in mind the DLCs are called episodes so they are not basing it off the Same way chapters were handled in the base game where there were 9 chapters but each were shorter

I was so right about one having a soldier hat! It seems they are reusing concept art of boys soldier outfit for this new girl.

I’ve played the game like 7 times lol. Might redo all the available achievements on my other account ngl

I’m going for an ice mage build, and I am using a cold twin blade plus 8 atm. I’m using a plus 8 academy glint stone staff aswell.

Fuck you is self explanatory.

Meh are areas that don’t have alot to them and I don’t really care for. This tier is mainly comprised of small “barley” areas per se but still gonna count them.

Okay are areas I actually am starting to enjoy. Grave of saints is short and not very note worthy but the aesthetic is cool. The pit has fun platforming kinda and I like how you can skip grave of saints. Old chaos has ivory king and a fun enemy gauntlet, doors of Pharos is an actual level and the aesthetic is cool, plus the lock stone gimmick is decent even if a lot of it is worthless. The dark chasm has a cool atmosphere and the npc fights are fun and drop ascetics which I like.

Solid are areas that I find are actually enjoyable. Throne of want only has the three bosses but the ending is so significant it’s like it’s better than the other smaller areas. Rest are areas I like but could be better. Areas with enemies that are just mediocre imo.

Good are areas that actually have a good amount of stuff I like. Areas I actually look forward to doing and overall just a good time. Enemies are decent aswell but not as standout as the great and amazing tier.

Great are areas I actually really enjoy. Great aesthetic, cool or fun level design/ gimmick. Fun enemies too

Amazing are areas with my fav level design and aesthetic aswell as most fun enemies. Majula is up there because of the amazing music and vibes aswell as being a incredible hub world with great loot and quests

Was super proud. Very fun fight. I used a raw plus 4 broadsword and plan to get the sunlight straight sword for my faith build next.

Just finished my replay. Amazing game tbh, way better than ds1 imo.

I used the crypt black sword most of my run, and eventually went with the demon great hammer. I ended up having an easy time with a lot of these bosses so I tried to rank based on move set, how fun they are to face when they are supposed to be fought etc.

Dislike- bosses I thought were terrible and not fun, aswell as having bad designs.

Meh- bosses I thought were fine but didn’t care for. Designs that were just meh.

Okay- bosses that were kinda fun. Didn’t have a great time with em but were good enough. Designs that were actually kinda cool.

Solid- bosses I actually enjoyed. Designs I liked.

Good- bosses I liked a lot and have mainly positive thoughts on. Designs I thought were very cool

Great- bosses I had a great time with and have very minor issues with. Great designs aswell

Amazing- bosses I personally had the most fun with and my fav designs.

The eshop release date has always been a bit skeptical as if it’s the actual date or not, as the ln3 dlc had the 30th of June as its date but actually released the 12th. However the date aligning with the showcase can’t be a coincidence.

It proves one of two things. Either A- we get a reanimal dlc release date and trailer(which was already suspected due to it being close to the end of summer and reanimal was shown in the game showcase trailer ) or B- it’s the actual dlc drop date.

I’d like it to be option B but it’s more than likely A as I don’t think tarsier has ever done a shadow drop. You never know.
