Help please 🙏

Hi everyone,
I’m a B.Tech CSE (IoT & Intelligent Systems) student at Manipal University Jaipur. I’ve been selected for a 4/6-week summer internship during the May–July break.
The company has asked me to provide a written approval/NOC letter from the college confirming that I’m a student of the institute and permitted to do the internship.
Can someone guide me on:
whom I should contact first (HOD, TPO, internship coordinator, etc.)

what documents are usually required

and how long the process generally takes at MUJ?

Thanks!

Got fooled

Recently, a company opportunity was shared with students through our college placement cell as a paid internship opportunity. Many students applied and some resumes were shortlisted.
The company later conducted 2 days of DSA sessions before the OA round. However, during the assessment process, students were informed that clearing the OA would provide eligibility for a discounted placement preparation course rather than a direct internship opportunity.
Some students expected the process to be focused mainly on internship hiring, so the final structure of the program came as a surprise. Posting this here so that future applicants can ask detailed questions beforehand regarding the role, stipend, selection process, and whether any paid courses are involved.

You need to hear this

You can easily get companies as they come to the college. Most of the Reddit users or so-called seniors don’t even have a CGPA above 7, have 3–4 backlogs, no real skills, and no proper projects, yet they expect the college to get them placed automatically.
One company came to our college recently. In Level 1, they asked a Linked List question, and most students couldn’t even solve that. In Level 2, there were mixed questions involving Linked Lists, Queues, and multiple Linked List concepts, and almost 90% of the students failed to solve them.
The company was offering 4 LPA to students who cleared Level 1 and 7 LPA to those who cleared Level 2.
So instead of constantly defaming the college, focus on upgrading your skills and improving yourself.
