I can guess why (easily abused) but I'm curious if that's the official reason or not

It happens often with my family. Just got informed they want me to help with a yard sale at 6am, that'd be fine. But it's currently 1:30 am. So now I get to sleep for 4 hours and then take a shower because they didn't feel like telling me about the yard sale that was planned about a week in advance for the entire week leading up to it.

Disclaimer: I'm not calling them poorly balanced or that the players have no skill, I just don't own the DLC so I'm trying to understand how they work.

I see a lot of skitarii players on auric delete massive groups of elites with their guns with very little ammo and no need for them to be lined up like with a bolter or plasma gun. How are they balanced while being that easy to use and efficient? Do they have super poor ammo capacity? Or something else? From an outsider perspective they seem to just make all the veteran's (and everyone else's) guns pointless by comparison.
