Any dancers out there who learn choreos for fun as their cardio after work?

Used to dance eons ago and looking to get back into it. Can't seem to find a studio that is a style of dance I would enjoy - lyrical hip-hop, poplocks, tuts.

Was thinking of an afterwork type of activity - 4 people max lol because I was hoping I'd be able to use my building gym for it. Otherwise need to figure that bit out too.

For reference, love Kinjaz and Brian Puspos style of dances - would seem more fun to do this and relearn with other people.

But if anybody has recommendations of a dance studio that teaches their style of dance, not opposed to it either.

when 9Y as a 34F OFW in a leadership role in tech stops feeling like enough

👋🏽 Hey ambitious OFW women in tech,

34F, 9Y in tech in the UAE - my 'expertise' being project management though I've touched everything from understanding business needs to solutioning, hiring, testing, operations, support. Been in C-leadership roles since 2019.

I went the unorthodox route of learning everything by experience and did not take traditional courses - I don't discourage traditional route, only stating that I didn't take that route.

I hit real financial milestones early, held senior titles young working in a super ambitious family owned company and somewhere along the way stopped putting weight on either money or my titles. Honestly, the wins were pretty fleeting.

What actually struggled were my personal goals, health, relationships, my own growth. It got heavy enough to make me question why I kept taking on more responsibility at work instead of dealing with what was actually off.

I spent the last 6 years building a system that's helped me stay consistent with that side of life, while working full-time. Now I want other women to benefit from it too.

If you're an ambitious, high-achieving woman but stuck with your own personal goals, I'm open to mentoring/coaching a couple of people with the process I've developed. Free, not a course or program - just you working with me.

Who this is for: ambitious women who are superwomen at work but struggle with their own goals.

Who this isn't for: career advice, job-hunting help, or therapy. Not qualified for those, don't want to waste your time.

I'm in my early days building this out, so I'm only looking for feedback after you work with me. Some might call this life coaching but I take a practical, tangible approach given my own experience with it, so I call it mentoring for personal goals.

I still work full-time, so I can work with 2 people right now.

DM if this sounds like you & I'll send over a few questions to check fit.

when 9 years as female Dubai OFW in leadership role still feels like it's not enough

👋🏼 Hey Filo women in our community,

34F, 9Y in tech project & product management in financial services.

For context, worked hard enough to move up to senior management positions being in the UAE for 10 years.

But up the climb of managing people and juggling growing responsibilities, I found myself questioning why I was even doing it all. I struggled to also have personal time for myself, often stuck in a loop of restarting routine and feeling like I wasn't disciplined or consistent enough.

Not being able to translate what I was doing at work into my personal life left me feeling very unhappy. So for the past 6 years sought to find a 'system' that works and helps me stay consistent long-term.

I'm looking to mentor/coach filo women in tech, project or product mgmt who need help identifying and achieving their personal goals. And guide them with the tools I've been using the past few years (while working a full-time job).

It's still early in the build, so I'm looking for honest feedback as we go.

Who this is for: Filo women here in the UAE who are ambitious, high achievers & superwomen at work but struggle with their own goals

Who it's not for: career advice, job-hunting help, therapy - I'm not qualified for those and I'd just be wasting your time.

I still work full-time, so I can work with 2 people right now.

Comment or DM me if you're interested and I'll send over some times or drop the questions there.

thanks for reading and excited to meet you

Edit 31/7: note this isn't for mentorship/coaching in tech, this is to help high achieving women in tech who have tried but struggle with their personal goals.

Change employer OEC process?

Hello!

Has anybody else experienced or knows the process of how to get updated OEC? I shifted employers and my old OEC still shows in my balik manggagawa account. Got my verified contract completed last week and the email mentioned I would receive separate email about my OEC.

I did try to update my details via balik manggagawa but when I got to scheduling an appointment there was none available 😐

Reached out to dataflow support and raised a ticket as well.

Super clueless what to do and I'm flying out next month.

Anybody else experience this?

high achievers, why's it so hard to stick to our own goals?

👋🏼 Hey everyone,

34F, tech project & product management in financial services for 9 years.

I posted here a couple of weeks back looking to speak with women achievers who felt stuck on personal goals - a good few of you replied (thank you very much!) 🥹

My personal life play was: go all in on a routine for myself (workouts, eating properly, sleep), keep it up for a few weeks, then a couple of bad days would come and then I'd fall off. And I'd start again a few weeks later telling myself I just wasn't disciplined or consistent enough. Rinse and repeat - and honestly so tiring and demotivating when you know you're an achiever.

There's definitely a gap between knowing what versus doing something about it.

If there are women who are still stuck, I'd love to know:

what's the thing that never quite sticks for you? and what have you actually tried so far?

If you're open to 15 minutes call so I can understand where you're at, drop a comment or DM me. No pitch and nothing to sign up for. I'm working on a mentorship for women in exactly this spot and if useful, afterwards I'll consolidate and share what's been working for myself and other women, that's it.

Thanks for taking a minute to read through my post!

for those who've been high-achievers in tech, is there something in your life that still doesn't feel figured out, despite how much you've accomplished at work?

👋🏼 Hey everyone,

34F & been doing tech project & product management in financial services for 9 years.

But midway up the climb of managing people and juggling growing responsibilities with each promotion, I found myself unsure of why I was even taking up so much responsibility.

I ended up never really having personal time for myself.

And I often fell in this loop of restarting my routine (workouts, healthy eating) which kept me thinking I wasn't disciplined and consistent enough.

It really got to me too because of how used to getting things done I was, and not being able to translate what I was doing at work into my personal life left me feeling unhappy.

anybody else feel this? and what's the thing that's never quite stuck for you (health & wellbeing, relationships, some personal goal), no matter how much you've got it figured out at work?

p.s. not sure if this was the right flair? just wanted to get a sense of resources used when other women feel this.

Curious how other women in PM/product getting stuck on personal goals

👋🏼 Hey everyone,

I've been doing tech project & product management in financial services for 9 years. But midway up the climb of managing people and juggling growing responsibilities with each promotion, I found myself unsure of why I was even taking up so much responsibility.

I just could never make the personal time for myself. I often fell in this loop of restarting my routine which kept me thinking I wasn't disciplined and consistent enough.

So it set me on a 6 year journey in finding what 'system' works, how to stay consistent long-term and overall feel happy about where I am in life.

Curious if this is something others in PM/product deal with too. What personal goal (eg. health, relationships, personal growth) have you struggled to make stick, what have you tried, and what do you tell yourself when it doesn't work out?

Feel free to drop a comment, and happy to chat more in DM if useful.

And if you made it this far, I appreciate the minute you took to read this!

Looking for high-achieving women in tech who feel stuck on personal goals

# 👋🏽 Hey everyone,

I'm developing a mentorship for high achieving women who need help identifying and achieving personal goals. Preferably those in the product, project management or tech space.

And the peace of mind and clarity it's given me is why I feel so strongly that every woman that gives her 1000% at work deserves to feel that.

I’m looking for 5 women willing to have a short 15-minute conversation with me so I could understand what personal goal (eg. health, relationships, personal growth) you're struggling with, what you've tried and how you came up with your goal.

Feel free to drop a comment or DM me so we can sync up.

And if you made it this far, I appreciate the minute you took to read this - I sincerely hope you long lasting clarity and happiness in life.

Wheein/Hyejin lack of interactions...am I seeing things?

I am probably overthinking this but I don't see much Wheesa interactions. I wonder if they're both okay or Hyejin is just generally quiet this season/reunion of the girls.

I was watching how they came up with 4Flowers choreo on YouTube last night and couldn't get the nagging feeling off my chest. Same when I watched a couple of their interviews like when each member guessed stuff about the other SBS kpop or the Zzanhan bro interview show.

Hi! Visiting PH - new contract

Hello po!

What's the most recent requirements needed to secure an OEC? I'll be under a new contract by the time that I travel in a couple of months so want to make sure that I get this done and without hassle. The last time that I did this was years ago.

DM strategy dead?

Hello guys,

I've been on Instagram since Q2 as an upcoming mentor for high achieving women in mid 20s wanting clarity and identity outside of work. I've read up on strategies on how to get 'leads'. One of them being commenting across other creators' similar niche accounts and adding value there but doing 30 a day was just too much at most I was getting likes around it instead of actual comments.

I also actually tried pulling out a comment that I left on another creator's account and then going through the list of people who liked my comment. There were about 90 of them and then trying to shortlist from there who was somebody I could DM I did end up sending a message to five people but none of them responded and my hunch is because I don't follow them and they don't follow me? I don't really know how that all works given that some of the accounts that I've messaged also are private. I do put in the effort where they at least show some of their posts and tailor the message accordingly.

So is the DM strategy dead or is it that I'm just missing a step, like I should follow them and they should follow me back before I can actually send them a message?

Or should I just stick with a strategy of still commenting across similar niche accounts to mine and then hoping that one day somebody sends a DM they resonate with whatever comment I've left? I'm not a fan of this approach if it is that I have to wait.

Sorry for the silly question but new to this game and Instagram constantly changes.

Egg freezing in Taiwan & finding asian donors

Hi!

I'm 34F and my partner 36F. We're looking to freeze eggs to buy us time into getting ourselves settled financially.

We currently reside in the middle east and are either considering Spain or Taiwan for egg freezing, then eventually finding a Asian donor - which is why we'd prefer Taiwan.

Some questions:

  1. Would you choose Spain or Taiwan for quality and experience? Or Thailand?
  2. When needing an Asian donor - how would one go about it? Is my theory right that doing it in Taiwan would be easier?

The plan is to eventually settle somewhere in Asia like Chiang Mai, TH. Yet to finalize that as getting our finances in order is the current order 😄

Thanks for any advice or threads I can refer to.

👋🏼 Kazz awards 2026 - anybody going and how does seating get assigned? First come first serve?

Anybody going and how does seating get assigned? First come first serve?

Anything else one should know when to come prepared with? I'm just visiting the country. Would be good to know whether snacks like a protein bar, water is available and what the temp would be like?

Basically anything to make the experience a good one. And not get crowded in if that's possible 😅

Thanks in advance for tips ❤️
