I’ve been using the same CPAP machine for about 8 years and it’s start to make more noise than in the past . From what I’ve read, 8 years is mostly likely over the expected lifespan, so I’ve been thinking about getting a new one. I’ve hit my annual out of pocket maximum because of a hospital visit earlier this year and was wondering if the CPAP would be covered under my out of pocket maximum or are CPAP machines something outside of the normal plans.

I have a high deductible plan, so I would normally expect to have to pay for the new CPAP machine.

I had to completely re-install the OS and everything on my M1 MacBook Pro. I have a backup, so nothing was lost, but I have so much crap that’s accumulated over the years that I’m trying to only copy back what I really need.

I’ve re-installed Thinkorswim and all of my setting and layouts have returned to their defaults, which is expected. I didn’t have a ton of stuff customized, but it would be nice not to need to recreate everything. Are the settings for Thinkorswim stored someplace that I can copy from my backup?

I’ve never chosen the Food & Beverage Rewards for any of my milestone rewards and was curious if I was missing anything.

As far as actual dollar amount the Food & Beverage Rewards seem to be worth more than the 10,000 Bonus Points reward, but I’m not sure if it’s something practical for me. I’m at Diamond status level, so I already receive free breakfasts. I don’t really drink, so having a drink in the hotel bar is not something I do. I do pick lounge access for my 40 night reward and do use that if the hotel I’m staying at has a club lounge, but mostly for the food.

I just purchased a new RS4 Mini and was getting everything setup. I connected the iPhone DJI Ronin app through Bluetooth without any problems. The app said there was a firmware update, so I clicked to install that. The app had just started updating, probably only at 5 or 10 percent and it failed.

Now the gimbal is stuck on an “updating” screen that I can’t get past.

I’ve restarted the gimbal several times, but when it turns back on, it flashes the normal gimbal interface for just a second and then goes back to the “updating” screen. When I try to reconnect Ronin app on my iPhone to the gimbal, I get a “Connection Failure, Reset the Bluetooth connection the gimbal screen” error message.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Is there a good/easy way to test SD Cards to make sure they're still safe to use? I have a few older SD Cards that I found in drawer while cleaning. I would like make sure they're good before I shoot a bunch of photos on them. I'm on a Mac.

From what I understand, there’s no lockout period for selling the SPCX I received from my IPO request. But I’ve heard that if you sell the shares too soon, it could affect your chances of being able to get in on other IPOs. Is there is there an amount of time I need to hold them or does it not really matter.

I had requested 100 shares and only received 12, so we’re not talking about anything super significant.

I’m guessing the answer is no, but is it possible for me to book room for my wife using my points and my Diamond status so that she gets my benefits when she checks in if I’m not there?

How about just me booking with my points, so that I get the nights credited towards next year’s status level without her receiving any of my benefits?

We have a Mexican Riviera Cruise (Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta) booked for later this year. We’ve looked at the excursions offered by the cruise company and nothing really blew us away. So we’re thinking to not book excursions and just go into town and wander around, probably get some local food.

Anyone have any suggestions for things to do in each of the ports that are free or low cost? Or is there an excursion that you feel is really worth the money? We’re not really drinkers, so Tequila or wine tours are not really interesting to us. Also, this is our first time to any of these towns.

It’s been years and years since I’ve done a clean install of the OS on my Mac. Over those years, I’ve had a new Mac and updated to several new versions of the OS. But I’ve just transferred everything over from the old computer to the new one and have just upgraded the OS without doing any clean installs.

Over the past year, I’ve been noticing more and more weirdness on my computer, so I’ve been thinking to start with a clean install when I switch from Sequoia to Tahoe and transfer just what I need over. But I remember that the last time I started with a clean OS, I had a few issues with transferring some of my things (like mail) transferred over correctly.

Any tips or tricks to get this to go as smoothly as possible? I have a Time Machine backup of my Mac and I am planning to make a clone of the drive to have an extra backup.

I booked a FHR hotel last year for a stay later this year and received the FHR credit a few days later. Our plans have had to change and I need to cancel that booking, but want to book another FHR for around the same date and same hotel chain, but different county.

I figure I'll loss the credit, but was wondering what are people's experiences? If I cancel and rebook right away, would I be able to keep my credit? Has anyone had any luck in calling in to Amex to make the change?
