I've been working on a project called Ratecore, and I thought this subreddit might be interested.
The idea is to have one album featured every week, with the community having the whole week to listen to it, rate it and discuss it.
The website is focused on emo, screamo, post-hardcore, metalcore, Midwest emo, pop punk and related scenes. I really wanted to create something where an album doesn't just become another post that gets buried after a day — instead, everyone gets a dedicated week to actually listen and talk about it.
There are ratings, comments, user profiles, rankings and an archive of previous albums, so you can also go back and check out albums from previous weeks.
I'm still developing it and figuring out exactly what works, so I'd really appreciate feedback from people who are actually part of these communities.

I know that's not a pop punk album, so I'm not expecting everyone here to be interested in this week's pick. But I'm hoping to eventually bring some pop punk albums into the rotation too, and I'd love for people from this community to stick around and help shape that part of it.

Oi, pessoal! Queria apresentar humildemente um projeto que estou começando chamado Ratecore.
A ideia é funcionar como uma espécie de “clube do álbum”: toda semana temos um disco em destaque, e durante aquela semana a comunidade pode ouvir, dar uma nota e principalmente discutir o álbum nos comentários.
O projeto é focado em gêneros como emo, post-hardcore, metalcore, pop punk, Midwest emo e deathcore, e eu queria muito começar a incluir também bandas brasileiras que fazem parte dessa cena.
Por isso queria perguntar para vocês: quais álbuns brasileiros de emo, post-hardcore, metalcore, pop punk, Midwest emo ou deathcore vocês acham que merecem uma semana de destaque?
A ideia não é simplesmente fazer uma lista de álbuns. Quero criar um espaço onde a galera possa realmente parar por alguns dias, ouvir um disco e trocar ideia sobre ele — mesmo que seja um álbum que já tenha alguns anos.
Estou começando o projeto agora e seria muito legal contar com a opinião de quem acompanha a cena brasileira.

I’ve been working on a small project called Ratecore for a while, and I finally got the first version online today.
The idea is basically a weekly album club for the emo/post-hardcore/metalcore scene. Every week, everyone listens to the same album, then we can rate it, discuss it and discover other bands together.
I wanted the first album to be something from a band that means a lot to this scene, so I decided to start with Escape the Fate.
It’s still very much a first version, so I’d genuinely love to hear what you guys think, whether you like the idea or notice anything that could be improved.
