What Android phones would you suggest for a current Apple user.

I’ve been using iPhones for well over 10 years. But in the last 6 months I’ve been seriously considering switching to Android. I haven’t used it daily since probably Lollipop. I’ve been looking at both the S26 Plus or Ultra and the Pixel 11 Pro. Currently using an iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Just started the process for Chapter 7!

It’s been a long time coming. I knew for a long time this is something I needed to do, just didn’t have the balls to make an appointment. But I finally went today and seems like it’ll work out well. My attorney is very nice and honestly is making the process so much easier for me. Currently getting all my documents together and he’s very confident this will be a successful process. I know it’ll be a struggle for awhile while I’m going through the process but I know the end result will be well worth it.

Should I take out Sharpedo and replace with Gyarados?

Accidentally got the Gyaradosite stone instead of Lucarionite stone but that got me thinking, would Gyarados be a better choice over Sharpedo? I know Sharpedo can outspeed Gyarados. Or maybe im just overthinking all this.

My current party.

Emboar evolved from my starter Tepig, Alpha Sharpedo, Absol, Venusaur evolved from the Bulbasaur Mabel gives, and Jolteon and Slowbro I nabbed from Pokemon Home from my LGP save.

These are my new addiction.

I’m a devout Tim Tam lover but they are so hard to find and the Target I used to get them from stopped carrying them this year. Had to go for cheese of all things found these in the Aisle of Shame. Oh my gosh they are just like Tim Tams. So chocolaty and crunchy. Ended up getting 2 packs but I know the next time I go there they’ll be gone since they were in the aisle of shame so I’ll enjoy them while I can🥲

My Apple TV is so tired, the top matte coating is beginning to come off.

I’ve had this thing for 9 years. Bought it brand new in 2017. I can literally scratch it off with my nails. Currently hoping we get a hardware update since tvOS 27 has finally dropped support for this thing.

Frutiger Aero lava lamp.

Slightly cloudy but it’s also the very first time I’ve run it so I’m hoping a few cycles will help it out. I’m a sucker for anything frutiger aero so when I saw this I had to pick it up.

Welcome to New Wuhu Island.

I’m “done” with the island for now. Will probably make a separate profile on my Switch because I know I won’t be able to bring myself to delete this place.

Now that we are nearing one year after the Switch 2 release, what are your feelings about it so far?

I caved and got mine in August but I remember going out on launch day and my local Walmart was fully stocked, and the Best Buy next town over has a few as well. I ended up buying the MKW bundle because why not I was already spending this much. Overall here are my thoughts:

The hardware itself is very nice I do quite like it. It feels more substantial than the old Switch, which to me always felt a little toy-like.

The software and game library does still leave a bit to be desired. There are more and more games coming out for it, so this will *hopefully* resolve itself soon.

The peripherals, don’t interest me. I never bought the camera, and have no intention to (in fact I’ve still not even set up gamechat) I did buy the Pro controller. It ended up getting drift so I sent it to Nintendo for repair, replaced it with a different controller, and when it gets back I will be selling it. But before that happened, it was fine. Way too expensive for what it was imo.

I do like the Switch 2 and I am hopeful its library will grow over time, but right now it library of Switch 2 exclusives is still a little thin, and the price going up to $500 is going to be an even harder pill to swallow than it already is.

95 hours in but want to redesign.

This is currently how my island looks and I want to redesign it lol. I want to have like water ways separating the homes and shops but I have absolutely no idea where to start. What would you do.

Finally made the switch to 8BitDo Ultimate 2.

My first party Switch 2 Pro Controller already started developing drift after less than a year and I’m not paying Nintendo’s controller extortion rate again. Decided to get this and even after 10 minutes I’m so impressed. It was a bit fiddly to get the wake function on the Switch 2 to work but once I did I couldn’t be happier. The *only* thing I wish it had was a headphone jack, but you can’t have it all.

Trying to decide what Pokemon game to start with.

I’ve played Ultra Moon on my 3DS and Pokopia on my Switch 2 but that’s about it and I’d love to actually get into one of the Switch titles. I’ve looked at the Lets Go titles, Z-A, and Arceus. But there are so many I don’t even know where to start. I know everyone has their own opinions on which one is the best, but as basically a first time player, what would be a good game to start with?

EDIT: after reading over comments I think Arceus is where I’ll start. I’m sure I’ll be getting more after that but that’s seems like a good starting point. Thanks everyone.
