So, to put it simply my parents insist on me taking Honours Geotrig (Trigonometry and Geometry) for my first year in highschool when I finally go back to school (According to them, it's because i'm 'smart' and don't need anything like algebra). I currently have my 8th grade year left, and have about a halfway through pre-algebra learning level for math. What do I need to learn to be ready, and what should I use to learn it?

I stopped a dude from commiting suicide by just talking to him and becoming friends with him. I've been messaging him over reddit for a while since when he was about to kill himself.

Recently I was gone for 2 weeks at a screen free camp and wasn't able to talk to him at all. I got back, and i've messaged him over the past couple of weeks since i got back but he just hasn't responded. I have this deep, terrible, sinking feeling inside of me that he did it and he's gone, and I just don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated.
