Our movie night left us completely obsessed with Obsession!
We had friends arriving not just from nearby but also long‑distance travelers who came all the way to join us, which made the gathering even more special. Settling into our seats, we dove headfirst into the intense world of the film, hooked from the very first scene — every twist and turn sparked gasps, laughs, and plenty of whispered theories in between.
One unforgettable highlight was the scene where Niki smashes Sara’s head — the entire theater jumped from their seats with screams and shock! But what really defined the night was the constant mixed feeling of laughing in horror at whatever Niki’s character might do next.
Her two personalities kept us on edge: one side felt almost possessed with love, as if driven by an overwhelming force, while the other was the normal, loving Niki who acted like a child desperate for affection. Doesn’t anyone wish that somebody loved you more than anyone else in the world? (said with a touch of sarcasm).
Most of the film was laughable in its horror, keeping us entertained and unsettled at the same time. The ending, however, was very intriguing — it made everyone stop and discuss right then and there, trying to piece together what had just unfolded.
And when the credits rolled with the director’s name, everybody in the theater clapped — a perfect way to close such a wild ride.
I don’t want to add more spoilers for those who haven’t watched yet, so I’ve kept this recap short and sweet.
It was a night filled with cinematic excitement, thoughtful discussions, and new friendships.

I am very fedup with this new incharge governor who lives in chennai , interacts with chennai people and calls thrituvalluvar sanatani, in one of his functions dressed him in kavi. I belive this shouldn't be encouraged but why no protests like earlier ?. Icons like this only for political use. Like Ambedkar, Periyar and Anna nowadays tvk handling mgr and Jaya.
