it’s extremely stressful. I’ve been doing it for 8 months. i will be leaving soon to join a different team, as that is part of my work program, but I could not see myself doing this job later on. It is so much information to constantly keep track of. idk how anyone does it. the meeting are very very stressful. I struggle w anticipating what questions i may be asked. If i could identify the biggest standouts from the forecast/focal points, it would be much easier, but i still cannot do it. rn, it feels like studying for a test the night before, and the next day, half of what u studied isn’t even on the test

most stressful thing are the meetings where u are shot a billion questions, and the constant changes to the forecast from pricing. it messes up all my analysis and I need to constantly redo everything. idk how other ppl are able to do this role with so much ease. I honestly hate it due to how much pressure it is

i haven’t been able to keep a corporate job. i get let go after a certain amount of time. due to slow learning, struggles with ambiguity, struggles to being quick enough to answer questions during presentations on the spot, and lack of ability to see the bigger picture and dig deeply enough into numbers. i definitely put in the hours and effort. i’ve stayed up very late working, w/ my mangers not even asking me about the task the next day.

i’m not sure anymore what I can do. many ppl say they feel dumbed down in corporate. for me, it’s very mentally challenging most of the time with the amount of ambiguity and problem solving involved. i’m pretty simple minded. when i try to think deeply, i just get lost in too many thoughts

have a bachelors in business, but working if it’s possible to go straight to getting a CPA after completing the accounting pre-reqs needed? in the US

I just don’t enjoy socializing with most people. A little bit here and there is fun, like catching up with coworkers at the office or old friends, but prolonged interactions w ppl i’m not very close to/comfortable around is not fun for me lol. for ex. a kickback w/ a bunch of ppl where ur just sitting around talking doesn’t sound fun at all. idk. it takes me a while to find ppl i want to be friends w. idk why im so picky. i just don’t feel comfortable around most ppl to be myself and being around them gets exhausting. Usually, i can tell from the get go if i will get along well w someone. anyone else? idk. i’m just extremely introverted ig

this is the second bike this is happening with. it generally only happens when peddling up a hill. i’ll stand up to pedal up a hill, and when peddling, i’ll stop being able to peddle for a few seconds and it seems like my chain either gets loose or snaps out of place or something. Then it goes back to normal and i can peddle again. this doesn’t happen every time, usually only when going fast up a hill. I’ve used a mountain bike and a comfort riding bike

I used to think this was a bike issue, but now that it’s happening w 2, could it be a problem with how i’m peddling? Should i not stand up? It happened before that the chain completely came loose, and i couldn’t peddle at all. like id rotate the peddles but wheels wouldn’t move, so my dad had to fix it, but it happened again

I’m in a rotating role at work where I can join dif teams. For my last rotation i can either join pricing or finance. I feel finance would be where I could see myself long term. But the manager isn’t someone that’d be the best fit for me. and I feel manger kinda makes or breaks the role. the other team, i like the team members and managers has a good reputation compared to the finance one (don’t really want to state the reason why but she is just not an ideal manager and ppl talk abt that). I wouldn’t wanna do pricing as my long term career tho. which team would i go w? good teammates but not career you’d want long term, or bad manager and career you’d want long term

Tired of having to wear my hokas 24/7, i’m 23 and having to wear them constantly makes me feel like the ugliest person alive. my left foot starts to hurt pretty quickly in flat, hard, and flimsy shoes. I want to try allegria, but wondering if anyone knows of any. wondering about dress shoes or casual shoes, not gym shoes
