Apologies, I do not speak Spanish (well) so my question will be in English. I have a work trip in Guadalajara. October. And I have a free day off on Saturday 31st to do what I want.

My interests are art/prints/photography, so any print shops would be good to know. I also love tequila :) so is there a distillery? But what is unique in Guadalajara that I do not know about? Interested to hear any recommendations.

I've been feeling a little bit isolated out here since moving into our new house back in October. A little bit about me: Male, designer and photographer, married, 37yo, no kiddo (yet), European. Interests include the following: soccer, paddle, hiking, drinking, philosophy, history, board games, nature, bugs/birds, photography, former DJ, rock music, Indian food, horror movies. My wife is cool as heck too and is always up for meeting new people. Over n out.

Just a vent I guess. Short context: It's a corporate job, I worked as a designer for 3 years then got promoted to AD. Half because the AD got laid off and nobody else asked for the job. Half because I proved myself as a creative thinker and showcased problem solving abilities to my boss. The team is comprised of about 6 graphic designers, a few video animators, videographers etc.

The trouble is I'm failing to find my authority. The brand (global brand) is so effing prescriptive that we just end up spending our review times going over the most trivial things like strokes widths on arrows and directions of gradients etc. Which doesn't interest me at all and I glaze over.

All our actual creative work has been outsourced to agencies so we don't really get to do the cool stuff. So I'm stuck with the menial finicky brand stuff which isn't my strength and I have zero authority on any cool/campaign/creative work now. So my team is slowly building resentment I think, because I have this stupid AD title that others probably want - but I can't figure out how to prove my worth for it.

The Body scrolls off to the right instead of being nicely stuck to the width of the view port. I'm not a web pro, I can't figure out why this has happened. I need help. Somebody to go in and just find the problem and fix it. Shouldn't take somebody with knowledge that long at all. I'm so stuck.

I was about to order the v2 but I read lots of comments about it feeling 'glassy' and not a smooth metallic finish like on a MacBook Pro. As if you fingertips are difficult to slide across, there's a stickyness to it. Can anyone speak to this or help me pick one please? Thank you

I find the game engaging.. but not necessarily fun. Something about the short stamina, awkward combat, day/night cadence and excessive importance of inventory management just isn't doing it for me. I love the sound design and overall concept - but I traded to buy a Metal Pipe only to find out I CAN'T USE IT AS A WEAPON like ffs that was pointless. The woods at night are merciless but I'm supposed to go open the door when it's knocked by a complete stranger? I want to love Darkwood, but I won't be pouring any more hours into this game.

Hey all. My mother in law (Indian) lives in the Woodlands and LOVES playing carrom. It’s a long shot, but I’m wondering if there are any other players in the community?

(For anyone curious - carrom is an Indian board game. Kind of a combination of pool and checkers)
