Is it possible to re-shingle only one side of a shed? And why is the right side so fucked?

Is it possible to re-shingle only one side of a shed? And why is the right side so fucked?

I've never re-shingled or shingled a roof before. Looking to do this one. The one side has completely collapsed so I need to put new wood down, shingles, etc.

Would it be very tricky to re-shingle just the one side since the shingles and roof felt overlap at the peak?

Also, why is the one side so much worse in the first place? My guess is lack of sun, but I'm an idiot.

I don't know much about flashlights so forgive me.

I work in film lighting and am often bouncing lights off of mirrors, CRLs, and magic bounce. It would be really useful to have a small pocketable flashlight that I could use to calculate the angle of insidence before setting up a big Arri 18k light.

Are there any flashlights that are bright and have a very narrow beam that I can use for this? Or would it make more sense to use a laser pointer (cautiously)?

All footage was shot on an FX3, h.265, 4:2:2 10-bit.

First three frames are from the intro where I was going for a grittier low Sat look. Trying to replicate House MD or ER. The rest of the frames I was going for a clean commerical look.

The idea was to make the first sequence feel very different from the rest of the film, before you know it's an ad for simulation rooms at a college. I increased the amount of grain, amount of contrast, and decreased the saturation in order to add some grittiness and make it feel reminiscent to House or ER. The later scenes I was going for a more polished look with softer milkier shadows and more saturated colors.
