3D printing metal powders— what's the difference between grades?
Getting into metal AM and confused by powder specs? Particle size distribution matters most— SLM/LPBF typically wants 15-45um, while binder jetting prefers finer 5-25um. Sphericity affects flowability and packing density.
Common powders: 316L stainless (general industrial/biomedical), Ti-6Al-4V (aerospace/medical), AlSi10Mg (lightweight structural), Inconel 625/718 (high-temp), Tool steels H13/M2 (tooling).
Gas-atomized powders give better sphericity than water-atomized. What materials are you printing with? Any issues with humidity affecting powder storage?

Sugar free snacks I keep coming back to after quitting sugar 5 months ago
The first month off sugar was rough and I'm not gonna pretend otherwise. Everything tasted bland and I missed candy more than I expected to. But I've found a few things that make the sugar free life actually sustainable and not just something I white knuckle through every day.
Dark chocolate 85% or higher. It took about two weeks for my palate to adjust but now milk chocolate tastes sickeningly sweet to me. I never thought I'd say that.
Nuts with a little bit of cinnamon and sea salt tossed together. Satisfying and no sugar spike.
Berries. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries. They have some natural sugar obviously but nothing like a candy bar and they actually taste sweeter to me now than they did before I quit.
Shameless gummies for when I genuinely just miss the experience of eating candy. They have like 3g of sugar per bag which is nothing compared to what I used to consume.
Nut butter on celery. I know it's a kindergarten snack but it works.
Herbal tea with a drop of stevia. This replaced my nightly ice cream habit and somehow I don't miss it anymore.
The biggest change has been that I actually taste food now. Like fruits taste way more intense than they used to. My whole palate shifted and it took maybe 3 weeks for that to happen.
Setting powder is making me look like a ghost.
I have oily skin, so I need to set my makeup, but every setting powder makes me look flat, dry, and ten years older. Is there a powder that doesn't kill all life on your face?
Which glutathione is best for post-acne dark spots
The form question is genuinely confusing and I can't find a straight answer anywhere. Reduced glutathione, liposomal, IV, precursors like NAC. The price range is enormous and the bioavailability claims vary wildly.
What the research suggests: standard oral glutathione has absorption issues because it gets broken down in digestion before it reaches circulation. Liposomal versions protect it through that process. NAC as a precursor lets the body produce its own glutathione which some evidence suggests is more effective than trying to deliver it directly.
For skin the mechanism is clear. Glutathione inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme involved in melanin production. That's why it keeps coming up in hyperpigmentation conversations, the biology is actually there.
I currently get L-glutathione through mindbodyskin by clearstem as part of a broader hormonal acne formula. Not a standalone high dose glutathione supplement but I noticed the dark spot improvement after a few months on it, which I wasn't expecting going in. Wondering whether anyone has layered a dedicated glutathione supplement on top of something like this and whether the difference was noticeable.
best red light therapy device for skin and anti aging in 2026 and does KTS actually have the right wavelengths?
Red light therapy devices have gone from clinic-only to a crowded consumer market and the variance in quality is enormous. KTS light therapy shows up in discussions about affordable panel options but the question that matters is whether the wavelength output and power density are at levels supported by the research or just close enough to sound legitimate.
The 660nm and 850nm wavelength combination is the standard but power density at the treatment distance determines whether you're getting a therapeutic dose or basically using an expensive night light. Is the irradiance at useful distances actually sufficient?
Hydrating lip balms that actually work?
My lips are peeling terribly this winter. Vaseline isn't cutting it anymore.
I run a small retail operation and with spring cleaning sales plus mother's day stock arriving the labelling has become a daily chore.i need serial numbers, qr codes and product barcodes pulled from excel for batch printing on thermal. the free tools i tried are too basic and the one that came with my printer struggles with 2026 volume. i've been researching paid options that cost a few hundred bucks but i want to hear what people are actually using right now. anyone in barcode work actually found the best barcode generator right now that handles serial numbers, qr codes and thermal printing without drama?
