He’s my pet now

What could be the reason this pigeon is not going away? It’s been here for a week now. We literally tried everything we could to make it go away but it keeps coming back. We threw it away but still here. And it doesn’t seem to be scared of us even when we come close to it. At this point it’s starting to become a family lol
