Brand told me they stopped accepting new Amazon sellers in my market. I already bought inventory. What are my options?

UAE-based seller, first wholesale attempt. Would appreciate input from anyone who's dealt with this.

What happened:

Bought 10 units of a coffee grinder from the brand's official UAE distributor. Small test order ~AED 2,250 (~$610). I knew margins would be thin; the point was to stop overthinking, get out of the analysis paralysis stage, and actually start.

Applied for brand approval. Rejected: "We do not accept online order confirmations, packing slips, sales orders, pro forma invoices, or sales quotes. Submit an invoice from your manufacturer, distributor, or supplier."

The document problem:

The distributor runs everything through Shopify, so all they could produce was a store order receipt, which is exactly what Amazon rejects. I spent weeks going through their sales team and then accounts, asking for a proper commercial invoice. They eventually issued a signed and stamped letter on company letterhead confirming the sale (10 units, date, amount, paid in full). Amazon rejected that too, same canned response.

Amazon support confirmed the rejection was document type, not address mismatch or proof of payment. They just want a "finalized purchase invoice."

The bigger problem:

I emailed the brand directly asking for a Letter of Authorization. They replied that they stopped accepting new Amazon sellers in my market about two years ago and suggested I sell on other platforms. They also (fairly) pointed out that buying from the distributor at their price and reselling on Amazon leaves very little margin.

Where I'm stuck:

  1. There are existing sellers on these listings. I assume they were approved before the cutoff—is that right, or are they operating without authorization?
  2. Is there any legitimate path left, or is "brand doesn't onboard new sellers here" simply the end of it?
  3. Has anyone had luck escalating past the automated rejection to an actual human reviewer? Every submission comes back with identical canned text, which makes me think a person never saw it.
  4. If the brand has told me in writing they won't authorize me, how risky is listing anyway? Worried about an IP complaint hitting my account.
  5. Any advice on liquidating 10 units outside Amazon?

What I've learned so far (for anyone starting out): ask a supplier whether they can issue a proper commercial tax invoice before you pay them, and ask the brand whether they even allow new sellers on your marketplace. I did neither, and it cost me two months.

Thanks in advance.

Need a bit of advice (new seller)

I am a new seller and doing WO rn

I got a helium 10 sub a week ago and have shortlisted to 3 items. Messaged the regional distributors. They are taking their sweet ass time to reply and convo is going back and forth so far.

I feel like I am wasting a lot of time and that my sub (one month) gonna run out without having any results to show for it.

Should I start selling generic products in the mean time?

I have already gone thru 2 batches on helium.

Its summer and I have alot of free time. I dont wanna waste it by waiting for their emails while doing nothing.

What should I do in this situation? I want to make the most of this one month subscription.

Starting My Amazon FBA Journey — Need Advice

Beginner here , I’m planning to get the Platinum plan for a month and start my Amazon FBA journey. My goal is to begin with wholesale and eventually transition into private label. I’ll mainly be focusing on the beauty niche.

I’d really appreciate any advice, lessons learned, or common mistakes to avoid from people who’ve already gone through the process. Especially when it comes to product research, suppliers, inventory management, or scaling in the beauty category, or in any category.

Does a buzz with lineup look bad for inverted triangle?

I have an inverted triangle with big forehead and am thinking of getting a buzz cut for the summer but I heard ppl say that a lineup with an inverted triangle looks bad and puts more emphasis on the forehead.

Can Anyone confirm this? if yes

should I ask the barber for a softer lineup or leave it as it is.

Do all gaming laptops have a hinge problems?

I have been using macbook before i got a gaming laptop for uni (majoring in Cybersecurity). I have a Asus tuff f15 and within a few months of usage, the hinge is already fucked. The screw also keep falling out. My brother managed to fix it but it started to creak again. I might take this to the repair shop or sell this and buy a diff laptop.

Apprently Tuff f15 has this known issue. Do all gaming laptop have hinge problems. Do any have a single hinge like the one in macbooks? Kinda annoyed how manafactures cut corners for these expensive machines.

Motivation Dip after FInal exams.

Before every summer I make plans : fun activites, side hustles, self improvment, Usually during the finals or mostly before the final exams start. After the last exam i feel relieved from all the stress but also kinda empty. You know like "what now?" typa feeling. All of a sudden, everything seems boring or not worth doing.

Even youtube feels boring, the same YT videos that i put to "watch later" to watch after the exams no longer interest me. All those plans are forgotten, and to feel something, I scroll or game for hours all summer. This has been going on for the past few summers now. Motivated before finals, lazy asf after the last exam. The only productive thing i do is workout during this time.

Today's the first day of summer holiday and i dont want to go down that same path again. What can i do to get that motivation and drive again, the one before the finals, and left go of this "emptiness" feeling. I really need to lock in.

I find this field really intresting but i absouletly despise coding. I know you need to know how to code in order to do well in this industry but i cant help it man.

For refrence i am a uni student in first sem majoring in Cybersecurity. I have only took one programming class in Highschool but really never cared cuz it didnt intrest me.

What can i do to make it more enjoyable apart from the usual "practice more" .
