I am writing to request the subreddit r/SkinLightening. Currently, the moderator is absent and the community is being neglected.
I attempted to contact the moderator via Modmail on March 21st to address concerns regarding community conduct, but I have received no response. At this time, the sub is effectively unmoderated, causing friction between related communities.
Furthermore, the lack of moderation is allowing "hostile content" to sit unaddressed, which violates the spirit of the MCoC. I am currently a moderator of a similar community and I intend to bring this sub under a consistent moderation standard to ensure it remains a safe and helpful space for all users while maintaining neighborly respect between subreddits in accordance to rule 3 of the code of conduct.
I currently moderate a similar sub and would bring r/SkinLightening under a consistent, active moderation standard focused on civility, policy compliance, and community stability.
