Opinions on Sylver Seeker and/or Dungeon Lord?

I heard these two are hidden gems, are they really good litrpg series? What do they do that's different from other litrpg series? Worth the time???

Dark progression fantasy book recommendations???

My favorite subgenre of fantasy, drop some of your favorite dark fantasy series down in the comments and I'll check em out 👀

Dark fantasy is a subgenre of

fantasy that incorporates

disturbing, sinister, or

frightening themes

frequently blending

traditional magical elements with horror. It focuses on bleak atmospheres, moral ambiguity and the existential struggles of flawed

characters.

Dark fantasy differs from conventional fantasy and horror in specific ways, and contains severa recognizable themes and subgenres:

Core Characteristics

• Horror Elements: Features supernatural threats. monsters, ancient curses, and terrifying magical entities.

Moral Ambiguity: Blurs the line between good and evil. Heroes are often "anti-heroes" or flawed figures, and villains may have sympathetic motives.

(I put the definition here because Im tryna avoid people droppin a bunch of grimdark recs instead of actual dark fantasy)

Are there any Dark Fantasy litrpg book series?

If so, drop em in the comments I'll check em out. I hear about most litrpgs being super fun and humorous but I haven't heard of any with a darker tone, creepy monsters (or anything) and high stakes.

Sci-Fantasy book recommendations?

Anyone know of any Science-Fantasy series? Only series I personally have on my tbr is Sun Eater, I tried cold fire trilogy but the first book was a bit hard to read for me. Anyone know of any other science fantasy series that are good? (I know of Warhammer 40k and star wars too)

Lit rpg book series recommendations that are 3-6 books long???

Earlier I had posted about Rune Seeker asking if it was good and some of you dropped some shorter series as recommendations after reading what I said about lit rpg series being a bit too long for me (examples being DCC, Primal Hunter etc) so does anyone have any more LIT RPG recs that aren't super long? I'm interested 👀

Is Rune Seeker fire? Or is it bad?

The concept sounds very appealing and the cover art looks really cool to these volumes but I'm a bit skeptical of lit rpg. Primal Hunter and He who fights with monsters and dungeon crawler Carl sound good but they're all pretty long, Rune seeker is shorter and seems more manageable with my tbr. Should I give Rune seeker a try or is it not worth it???
