Tried out the pork chops with A1 and house sauce for the first time. Pretty solid but think that’s a one and done for me. Also tried the cold brew as a coffee fan, just wish they reduced the milk amount by maybe 30% since it completely covers the coffee flavor. God I love waho

From 9 3900XT to 5 5800X3D 🤞
One last hoorah on AM4 before I feel the urge to upgrade to AM6+. I’m excited for the nicer low 1%s.
Fans are definitely a lot more active during casual browsing etc, ramping up and down constantly but my temps with the Carbice pad are pretty reasonable: ~45C idle and 74C under load

Did I lose the woled panel lottery?
Getting used to the graininess as I was previously using a TN panel. The horizontal banding is apparent on Google, Reddit, etc. but teetering the thin line on “it’s ok” to “I can notice that”. Bought from Amazon so I can return, but prefer not to if I’m not going to see substantial improvement.

On vacation from the east coast, had to pick up a few pieces in LA
Stopped by The Woods today and yall were not lying, Hulk was a super dope guy to meet 💯 dropped a ton of knowledge about Leonard and the brand’s history, let me try on a ton of different pieces to see how each one looked, called the bench craftsman to see if they had my ring size, etc. The entire buying process was definitely worth the visit before I left. Ended up getting a medium chrome cross on a 4mm chain, cygnet pendant, and chrome ring. Will be back fs

ATM: R9 3900XT + RX5700XT. Bought a 5070ti. Should I stick to AM4 or go AM5?
Blessed by the PC gods, I live right next to a Micro Center. I recently bought a PNY 5070ti OC and definitely need to bring my cpu up and was originally thinking of the 5800X3D, but a $350 price tag makes me start to consider moving up to AM5 and picking up a 7800X3D bundle for $350 more ($700 total) or a 9850X3D for +$450 ($800 total).

GPU: Sapphire NITRO+ RX5700 XT (5070ti in hand)
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo Series 32GB DDR4-3600MHZ

I play on 1080p, but would like to up to 1440p, close to, if not more than 144hz, at as close to max graphics. I’m an esports titles kinda guy but want to finally be able to experience AAA titles with skull fucking visuals. I don’t mind coughing up more $, as long as it’s efficient/not wasteful.

ddHifi TC44Pro E3 Buzzing Sound?
I’ve been hearing this robotic buzzing sound at the start of songs sometimes when I switch tracks, but it doesn’t happen every single time. It’s difficult to replicate, which makes me think it isn’t a noise floor issue, especially with what I thought was a high quality DAC. Any thoughts?
