Is anyone familiar with raw meat diet and histamine intolerance issues?

I have pretty bad health issues. Seems like MCAS or histamine intolerance. Carnivore diet has helped a fair bit. However I’m still not where I’d like to be. I was thinking of trying raw meat for a while. I have tried in the past and it was just not that appealing.

However, I just recently tried a small piece of raw liver and I got the symptoms I usually get that I feel is a histamine reaction. I was just curious if anyone is familiar enough with both topics to know if raw meat or liver would be high in histamine or perhaps since it’s raw maybe it give the stomach more work to do to break things down which would in turn cause my immune system to overreact?

Has anyone got anhedonia from taking antihistamines like Zyrtec?

Had to take Zyrtec for bad poison ivy recently. I held out as long as I could but it kept spreading so I took Zyrtec. It wore off every 5 hours or so so I took Zyrtec every 5 or more hours for a few days. Since stopping it I have had this weird loopy feeling and dizzy and disoriented. It’s been like two weeks since stopping and I feel off still. Has anyone had these feelings come from antihistamines?

I had to take Zyrtec for bad poison ivy. After stopping it I had severe anxiety and ocd. Has anyone else had reactions like this?

I often react poorly to meds. So I tried to last as long as I could with the poison ivy but it started to spread on my body enough that I was thinking of urgent care. I decided to try a Zyrtec. I was fine with it in the past.

Although for me the Zyrtec wore off every 4 or 5 hours. So I probably had to take it every 5 hours or so for a few days. Aside from some odd dreams I didn’t have any issues when taking it.

However once the poison ivy subsided enough I’ve had high anxiety and a strong increase in ocd. I read a lot of people have some anxiety reaction when searching on askapatient.com but most say it goes away after a few days. It’s been like a week or more for me. I’m having to lay in a dark room because I’m very anxious.

(I’ve read that histamine is a neurotransmitter, so is it possible I could downregulate histamine receptors by taking it frequently in that short time resulting in high histamine and perhaps I’m histamine intolerant?)

I have very bad reactions to most antihistamines. Is ketotifen similar to other antihistamines?

A lot of my symptoms are mental. If I take Allegra I get severely depressed where I feel hopeless and crying. Zyrtec gives me bad anxiety. Recently after taking Zyrtec I was so spacey and anxious I went on askapatient.com and found a lot of people have bad reactions to Zyrtec. It helped to see I wasn’t alone in my reaction but I’m basically just suffering with no meds I can tolerate. I don’t know what to do. So is ketotifen similar to Zyrtec or Allegra because the reactions I have to those are terrible and so I can’t use them. How do people find doctors who really understand MCAS?

Does anyone know why caffeine helps my symptoms initially?

After the caffeine crash I feel bad but what is the mechanism or reason why caffeine temporarily halts my symptoms? I read somewhere caffeine helps with dopamine. Could dopamine be beneficial? I’m in a flair and doing very poorly, most of my symptoms are mental,… ocd anxiety fight or flight. Some caffeine stops it until it wears off. Any ideas?

2025 Subaru Outback making a high pitch whistling sound accelerating 20-40 mph.

2025 Subaru Outback is making a high pitch whistling sound when accelerating from 20-40 mph. It is a whistle that increases with pitch as it accelerates. Took it to the dealer they said they heard it but it’s normal. I have driven other outback’s and did not hear this sound. I’m hoping to figure this out and correct it. Does anyone have an idea as to what is causing this? Any help is appreciated.

2025 Subaru Outback making whistling sound when accelerating?

Can’t figure out what the sound is that starts at 20 mph and lasts until about 40 mph. It’s a high pitch almost whistle that gets more high pitched as it accelerates. I have driven a lot of outback’s and this is the first time hearing this. The dealership said “it’s normal,” I don’t think it is. Any help is appreciated.
