A couple of rescaled devastators squads for my homebrew
Little lore dump:
When a battle brother of the Oathforged chapter dies, only a sentence is spoken for him when is ritual broken blade is collected: “Your oath is fulfilled, from now we shall carry your weight”. This ritual gain a physical aspect in the creation of new weapons and power armor for the neophytes of the chapter who found themselves often with reforged armors that combine pieces of different patterns as mean to continuously carry the oaths of the brother who came before. Sometimes this takes the form of a full set of armor reforged from sets of the same mark and in other cases it brings together different marks of armor.
The tradition is one of the various that the Oathforged have to honour their fallens and their deeds.
The tradition still survives in the Era Indomitus with the Ignigast of the chapter (the techmarines) that sometimes heavily modify the Mark X pattern of armor albeit with less frequency than before

Hello to all brothers and sisters. This is my revisioned home-brew chapter from my previous posts, and I wanna ask you what you think of it or if you have some suggestions. Thanks to all.

Warcry: "Forged in Oath, Unbroken in Duty"
The Oathforged are a fleet based adeptus astartes chapter of an unknown geneline and founding. They are defined by The First Oath, sworn by their founders and every battle-brother freely renew this covenant through the Oath of Ascension, making choice, not bloodline, the foundation of the chapter.
The chapter is guided by four pillars: Memory, Responsibility, Duty and Sacrifice. The hereditary flaw, labelled "Scar of the Oath", prevents brothers from forgetting, making memory a burden rather than a gif. Glory has no value unless it serves duty, and every warrior is judged by one question: "Did he kept his oath?". Every Oathforged is both a warrior and a scholar, studying imperial history, strategy and the chapter's own legacy. Recruitment is reserved for those who chose to stand their ground during hopeless sieges and invasions. They see themselves as "Knights without a Kingdom", they are protectors of the imperium whose only true homeland is their oath.
Two traditions define the Oathforged, the rites of broken blades in which each initiates breaks his newly forged sword, accepting that a warrior may be scarred without losing his purpose. This blade then became the ritual weapon of the battle brother and he put a new sign on it after every battle and oath fulfilled. Veterans weave also a crimson cloth, sewn by them to remember every fallen battle brother and every sacrifice. This cloth is worn into battle by the battle brothers, some tie it to their belt, for others is a tabard and for the most veteran members of the chapter it has now became a red cloak. Upon death, the broken blade, wrapped in the crimson cloth if earned, is placed within the hall of blades.
"Forged in Oath, Unbroken in duty". The motto embodies the chapter's belief that an oath gives purpose while duty grants endurance. A blade may break and a warrior may fall, but an oath freely upheld endures beyond both.
The chapter is governed by the circle of the unbroken, led by the Oathbearer (Chapter master). Decisions are founded on wisdom and responsibility rather than majority vote. The Keepers of the first Oath (Chaplains) preserve history and rituals, while Flesh forgers (apothecaries), Forge masters (Tech marines) and void seers (Librarians) safeguard the future of the chapter. The companies are collectively known as the Ten Blades, each, led by a blade captain, representing a different aspect of the first oath.
The Oathforged excel in rapid assaults, Zone mortalis and command decapitation strikes. Their favorite battle doctrine is called "The Closing of the blade". Their fleet, centered on the battle barge Oath Eternal, two other battle barges, 15 strike cruisers and some 30 escorts, is unusually specialized for sustained void warfare.
The Unbroken Truth: Only the Circle of the Unbroken knows the Chapter's true origin. Officials of unknown founding and line, the Oathforged desced from loyal survivors of the XVI legion. They guard this secret because it would annihilate them and because they believe a warrior must always be defined by the choices he makes, never by the blood he inherits.

Waiting 11th edition to upgrade my homebrew with primaris I finally decided to start my two small armies for a Badab project with some friends.
What do you battle-brothers think of how it turned out?
Side note, I 3d printed the helmet and it has a small defect on the vent not deemed too great to be scraped.
