Rafale intercepting Tu-214PU, registration RA-64534

Rafale Fighter Jets Intercepted Plane Carrying Russia’s FSB Senior Officials Over Baltic Sea

Very little is publicly known about the aircraft. It is known that the Tu-214PU is operated by Special Flight Detachment “Rossiya,” which provides air transport for Russia’s military and political leadership as well as for representatives of the security services.

According to assessments, the aircraft is used by FSB leadership as an airborne transport platform, a secure communications node, and, reportedly, an airborne command center.

In a photograph of the aircraft intercepted by a French Rafale over the Baltic Sea, aviation expert Piotr Butowski identified the LSZ-100 system.

The LSZ-100 is a laser-based electro-optical defensive system designed to protect the aircraft from infrared-guided missiles, particularly those launched from man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADS)

does the military unit numbers have meaning or its just all random ?

i mean when there some news about the military and they say like 364th brigade or like 468th airborne Regiment it is just random number or a 364th separett brigade thats why its called like that because before there were another 363 brigades?

im not a legionaire but i started watching a lot of the recruitment videos recently and most of them are just reuploads or older ones combined together, this one was interesting we saw thing that they didnt show in the older ones
