What's a not too difficult rom hack to start off with?

I've done a bunch of official games like Ultra Sun, Scarlet, Black 2, etc, and I want to start with rom hacks, but I don't know where to start, what would be not too difficult, but not too easy?

General question about how the movie connects to Kane's series

I've seen multiple sources that confirms Kane said that the movies and Kane's original youtube videos are connected, but that brings up the question where are the still lives in the other videos? are they just a lot less common than we originally thought, and where the hell is the bacteria in the movie or anything like it?
